I don't live in Australia so I have no dog in this hunt. My opinion is if there are going to be Melbourne home games they should not be on Friday night. Making families take that drive is not fair. If they want to keep the game 'family friendly' then these sorts of issues must be considered. You want a big 'home' crowd away from Geelong, then make it easier for them to come in.

I have booked super cheap tix home for me and the family - and there is no surer way to ensure that I will not get any games that suit my plans than to book in advance.

So lock it in kids - away games in early June.

I'd assume by now the club would know how many games at KP they will have (the reason they can't really sell any reserved seats just yet). It's just about the little details here and there to finish it off.

It's WCE and if Hawks v bombers get their way (which they shouldn't) and play each other round 1, I highly suspect we will go to Perth as there isn't another 'big vic' club left to play them.
Adelaide should travel there imo, not sure why they need a big Vic club. The attendance and viewing audience will be big regardless.
Also getting sick of all these 'marquee' match ups especially round 1. No game should be locked into a certain round. Anzac Day fixture is ok but we are over doing it as a comp imo.
