We might still be the away team at Etihad for a couple of games, but no home games is a big win for the club. 9 at KP an even bigger win.Yep 9 games at KP is a good result. I prefer to play a couple at the G and none at Dockland so this looking very good.
Leaks in the past 24 hours confirm:
- Nine games at GMHBA Stadium
- Two home games at the MCG (one v Hawks on Easter Monday)
- Three Friday night games
- "At least one" Thursday night game
- "A number of" Saturday night games
Oh yeah, I'm under no illusion that we will avoid playing at Docklands altogether. To be honest I don't mind the occasional game there in the depths of winter so long as it's not our home game.We might still be the away team at Etihad for a couple of games, but no home games is a big win for the club. 9 at KP an even bigger win.

Don't be suprised if our other home MCG game is the Country game v Essendon, and that our home game v Richmond is at KP.Sure I read somewhere that Geelong double ups were against Hawthorn, Richmond, Sydney, Gold Coast and Melbourne twice, which would surely mean that our home MCG games are Hawthorn and Richmond?
Means that 4 of our 9 games we would play Melbourne, Carlton, Sydney and Gold Coast at KP.

We play them twice next year (apparently) whilst playing Essendon and Collingwood once. We know that we will have (most likely) 2 MCG home games and 9 KP home games. One of those MCG will be v Hawthorn for Easter Monday. The other will be one of Richmond, Essendon or Collingwood.I would be shocked if we play Richmond at KP next season. The fact that they will most likely have 80k plus members, and the first final selling out will ensure that it doesn't happen.
Hawks at Tassie opens the door/gates for Hawks at Geelong too. Here is my expected Fixture assuming knowing that our double ups are: Hawthorn, Richmond, Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast
KP Home Games: Richmond, Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, North Melbourne, Brisbane, Port Adelaide, West Coast, Carlton
MCG Home Games: Hawthorn, Essendon
MCG Away Games: Melbourne, Richmond
Etihad Away Games: Collingwood, Bulldogs, St Kilda
Tassie Away Game: Hawthorn
Other Away Games: Gold Coast, Adelaide, GWS, Sydney, Freemantle
Notes. If we play Hawthorn away at the MCG/Etihad, swap the Brisbane and St Kilda games (Brisbane away, Saints at Home).
Exactly, Easter Monday gets rotated between the clubs, with the other game rotated between Tassie and KP. Seems fair to me.Hawks at Tassie opens the door/gates for Hawks at Geelong too.

The AFL were never going to reward us for getting Gaz back out of their own baby...I really thought we'd be given the chance to welcome back Ablett with a first round game at Kardinia Park - even with the Saturday night time-slot as the interest would massive and a ratings bonanza.
But no, the AFL continue to loath us getting a start at home.
Only 3 times we've been given the chance to do so in the past 20 years - 15% of the time.
Shocking discrimination.
First GMHBA game is round 4 v St Kilda.
Two MCG home games are v Hawthorn and Richmond.
Nine GMHBA games - 5 afternoon, 3 night and 1 twilight.
Any source or just gut feel?Only one game at Etihad!

Interesting. Saints haven't been down for a while, just surprised that we aren't hosting one of Essendon or Collingwood at the G instead of Richmond if true.K-Rock has reported as fact - can’t link as am on my phone.

Like that we have a majority of Saturday night games as well with only the three Friday night games. Allows for a better member turnout for themNine at KP and six at the MCG is a ripper result.
MCC members rejoice!
I've got you budK-Rock has reported as fact - can’t link as am on my phone.
Wow, what did Geelong do to get 9 KP and 6 MCG games?I've got you bud

As well as nine games at GMHBA, the Cats will play seven games at the MCG, five interstate and just one match at Etihad.
One of the MCG games is the Easter Monday meeting with Hawthorn, which will be a Geelong home game.
It is believed the Cats play Richmond twice at the MCG, with one of those becoming their 11th home game.
