Even AFL.com agrees with me, we will play Port round 1. Imagine what Motlop will cop. Will be solidly disgraceful.

I think Port are due to host rd 1 next year, so i hope we don't get them

Richmond will be at the MCG to keep the "Tiger Army" happy. AFL won't want another "but, but, but we're a big 4 club!" tantrum. Hawthorn and Collingwood probably the other two IMO as I assume Essendon will be the home team for the Country Game.

Just hope we don't waste a game on Carlton/Norf/Dees at Etihad. Utterly pointless with the most recent redevelopment.

The AFL does love to give them a dream run, I agree.

But the Pies are really buying in as well now.

It's not difficult to 'get away with' fixturing them six times against bottom six sides when they are also part of that same group.

And given this board receives consistent reminders of how our club is supposedly 'on the path to mediocrity', you'd have to say the Woods have clearly arrived there, put their feet up, and settled in for what looks to be a longish stay.

AFL MCC contract requires 14 Collingwood MCG games, so yes unfortunately that will continue

no matter what we get, I can 100% guarantee that June 2, 9 and 16 will be away games.



I have booked super cheap tix home for me and the family - and there is no surer way to ensure that I will not get any games that suit my plans than to book in advance.

So lock it in kids - away games in early June.

Quite true.

But, given how often the words 'AFL' and 'farce' fit quite neatly together when describing a whole host of matters that happen across the competition now, I won't be surprised at all if we cop the latest full embodiment of this term when the 'fixture' is finally released.

Hawthorn is Easter Monday home so it has to be there.

AFL have a new toy and they wont want the yellow and black toy to have to play away from the G.

We will play Collingwood and Essendon as away only, and I think Carlton at KP.
