Will that mean gold coast will play freo in perth as a gold coast home game.

If thats ends up being the case the suns really are generous club after all.

Just heard Kim Hagdorn suggest that Fremantle will get the opening round one fixture at the new stadium in exchange for having to travel in round one of the JLT series, whereas the Eagles don't have to leave the state during the pre-season comp. I can hear the blue and yellow tears already.

Tough challenge hopefully it isn't like the 2017 embarrassment when we played them. I know it ended up being a good thing long term but it should never have got to that stage.

I like the challenge. Round 2 last year we were an embarrassment against Port Adelaide - now we get a chance to respond against a team who everyone will be wanting to watch because of their massive off-season. It will be huge for the boys and club to get a W here in vicious territory.

We can't play in QLD for 2 weeks cause of the Comm games, no other professional sport can be played there while it is on according to legislation. So we may as well play 2 games in a row in the one place to mitigate travel.

Props to Rosich and co. Have been kicking plenty of goals including being the first WA team to field a women's side and now this. We were always going to struggle to get the first game given it's the Eagles turn and we have been struggling on the field but this more than makes up for it. And also our training facility.
