Prediction 2018 Fixture

Not a bad fixture but would have preferred more night games at the new stadium. But the first 5 or so home games will be awesome.

Think we got the same amount of night games in the new stadium as WC.

And our Gold Coast away game essentially gifts the Eagles two home games back to back. I was hoping we would get three in a row at home. Boooooooo-hissssssssss

Four games in Melbourne:
2 @ MCG - Richmond (Sunday 6th May at 1:10pm) & Collingwood (Sunday 3rd June at 3:20pm);
2 @ Etihad - Carlton (Saturday 16th June at 1:45pm) & Essendon (Saturday 21st July at 4:35pm).

And Geevegas @ GMHBA Stadium which is the new name for Simonds Stadium/Kardinia Park/whatever the hell it's called (Saturday 18th August at 2:10pm), which isn't covered in the Melbourne membership.

The Melbourne membership price rise will hopefully be revisited based on this.

New/returning Hawthorn president Jeff Kennett has been talking up the relationship between the Hawks and Tasmania, therefore us playing there next year is my...

If the players are healthy , could easily finish Top 4.

Pretty epic first 10 rounds. We will know what sort of year we’re in for after that. Six games in first 10 rounds against 2017 top 8. Plus Saints and Dogs.

Check Richmond’s first 10 rounds - priming them to be top of ladder again without any real challenges - play two games against 2017 top 8 teams, Plus Melb & Saints.

Settle Meima. Top 8 is our glass ceiling next year imo
Why ? Bennell, B.hill, Hamling,Kersten,Cam Mac, Matera and Wilson are very talented trade in players . Freo also got three top ten first round pick in logue , pick 2 and 5.

Let's get through the pre-season unscathed first, mate.

I second this!

$160 for 4 games of football is borderline criminal considering at the gate if you want cheap general admin, it's $80-$90 for adults.

What's the extra value in all seriousness considering some of the crap football we served up at times last season?

I mean, it doesn't guarantee a Grand Final ticket.....Geelong isn't included although at least they got the naming of the membership spot on this time (this was a pet peeve of mine which I pointed out to them when I didn't renew for 2017). They still haven't got the value for money spot on but I guess they count on loyalty.

I'm loyal, but not at the prices they want.

What a dynamic opening season for Perth Stadium with 2 twilight games and 16 afternoon games, 13 of them on Sunday and most on Fox outside of WA.

It's great for the state and our two clubs to begin with no one else watching., hopefully some of the travelling clubs forget where it is and rock up at Subiaco.

I can accept no Thurs/Fri games for Freo providing that approach is adopted universally and consistently. Carlton getting 4 Fri night games is just completely unacceptable - this is no longer the VFL you idiots.

When will we get administrators that truly embrace the national mindset and accountability? Was hoping Goyder would have had a more immediate impact than this.

We play every single bottom nine side from 2017 at Perth Stadium. We also play the 9th best team at a neutral venue. Outside of this game and the two bottom six double ups it’ll be very difficult to win away from Perth though. Our draw in Perth though is as close to ideal as we’re ever going to get.

If we make the eight we could break some sort of record for least traveling wins by a non-Victorian I reckon. Tbh though I still think we’ll fall a touch sort and even if we did and I had to put up with everyone complaining for a week or two I’d take the result in a heartbeat.

So we get 13 games at home next season?
