amazing what happens when your forward line doesn't fire - daniher is there star and without him firing they look 2nd rate.
Just think how Lynch would transform our forward line

Might have kicked 15 by now. Would have probably won our drawn game. Still smashed in the rest. Now imagine Fyffe or Martin because that is what you are going to have to pay Lynch. And why would he come to us? Chase mids first please. The game isn't made for many tall forwards these days.

With all these people suing the AFL , could do the same when the coach called me a fat xxxx when i was playing for Muckinbuddin 2s
Hahaha, coach said in a pre game team talk about me once:

“and if you don’t have any options short, just ******* hump it up the park as far as you can to Jimmy, he’s the size of a ******* house”

Or from an elderly away fan as I went to pick up a ball that went out of bounds:

“Hey number 10, what are you sweating for you fat ****. You’ve done **** all the whole game.”

Was a fair comment about my contribution to the game but I didn’t think I was that fat.

Probably should have sued.

I was playing in the 2s one day and disagreed with an umps call and he turned to me and goes ‘shut up, you’re a ******* 2s player’ I had nothing to go back at him with and just laughed.

One of the greatest things about local footy (especially ressies), is the banter.

Had a lady 2 weeks ago feeding it to me over the fence, showing off for her team's fans.
She kept screeching "Nice haircut #11!" (I'm balding), in that high-pitched, crack addict type tone.
I waited for the opportune moment after I'd Jimmy Webster'd 2 of their forwards, she fed me again and I said - "Let me guess, 3 kids to 4 dads?"
Her crowd we raucous, as were mine, not a peep from her again funnily enough!

this tweet is interesting. like you can expect to hear about the racial vilification within the player ranks. but the one that surprised me was the sexual harrassment. what in the ****!
From 6 to about 13 I grew up around arcade machines in the pub and the local footy club, seen far too many naked men for my liking and my first and only hooker at 9 falling off a makeshift stage because too much piss whilst one bloke fell through the old couch because he was a fat bastard.

RE sexual comments in the locker room / change room, you'd be surprised how utterly juvenile grown men can be in such situations.

Such as hello Mr Fitzroy player with a mullet, can you sign my book whilst starkers whilst that shit is direct eye level with a proud dad looking on?

That's St Fly's contribution to this forum in a nutshell.

And we're all better off for it.
If only this were the 1600's you lot would be in awe...

Query was on Joel Wilkinson citing sexual harassment in a locker room filled with boys / men.

Statement was "I was a 9 year old in a locker room seeing naked grown men whipping towels, speaking with buttocks and doing all manner of things with male genitalia about 30mm from my face asking for autographs due to growth spurts occurring in later life."

It is entirely within the realms of possibility that Joel Wilkinson encountered sexual harassment in that locker room, in my experience it's to be expected.
