Good first quarter.

Such a difference in tackling and pressure and even manning the mark as David King mentioned. Lemmens with the play of the game so far, the big shrug and then kicks a sausage roll.

Good start. Still some issues coming out of defense. Didn't like Martin bombing to 3 Geelong players but like how Lemmens and Sexton have played.

Tackling is improving.

Some boys looking a bit bigger and stronger. Still a couple of preseasons away from where they need to be though.

Some smarter and more measured ball movement.

Overall I know it’s just one quarter but I’m liking what I’m seeing.

Every time I hear or see Dewie speak he impresses me more and more with his philosophies, attitudes, etc. Perhaps Im just not used to having a coach with his knowledge and understanding of the game and where it is going.

Seems like a genuinely great guy to be around.

Still happy with the way we have been performing.

Kicking will come, we aren't the only team who look rusty by foot in the JLT.

We are going to play so much more defensive this year, but the pressure has been top notch.

Ugly 2nd I think but I love our overall intensity. Like how Lemmens going and agree with up above Sexton not bad at all just fix that goal kicking and forward entry could be crisper.

We've made them nervous every time they touch it. This is all I was looking for. Our pressure has been great.

Not to mention something we've never seen.

Hot and humid conditions don’t help with the ball fumbling but still looking good..
Thompson and Nicholls still need a lot of work by the looks of things
