Its ok for the last game of the year to be low scoring because an arm wrestle is expected. But you dont want it week in week out especially when you have great weather and if you are playing a bottom side and you should be putting the pedal to the metal.

That's another issue. My problem is with people that argue "low scoring game = boring". That is simply not true.

It already feels like this game was a month ago.

It is so last season, right?

Footy season is too damn short. Last season is over, but the next one is only in six months.

Next time someone argues that low-scoring games are boring, I will politely ask him to watch the 2018 GF's Q2.

The Q2 in isolation is balanced out by three other normal quarters.

Imagine 4 qtrs of that, or just watch the 2005 grand final.

Four quarters of that would had been awesome. Both teams were playing well, despite the lack of scoring. The ball was moving up and down the field, but the defenses were having the upperhand.

Bad games suck, regardless of the score; good games are great, regardless of the score. It is that simple.
