Good move on Bowles, thinks he’s done a good job this season when pre season most had the Jets winning 1-2 games.

Koetter should get another chance as well, a lot of people were calling Doug Pederson a bad coach after last season.

If the Bears clean house Vic Fangio will be out of a job for 5mins, and a real 5 mins not a Rob Ryan 5 mins.

Wouldnt mind seeing what he could do with the Packers D.

They were so convinced he was "The guy" to take them to the top that they moved him up too fast because some teams wanted to interview him. He has been nothing short of underwhelming.

Just another OC who struggles as HC. they will just be treading water till they fire him and move on.

Probably Giants. The big market so he can be a rock-star.
Texans have the better roster if you think Watson will be close to what he was before the injury and will take less hits.

I dont see the Giants because there isnt much there with a aging Eli who might demand a trade.

Wont be the Bears because i doubt he wants to start a rebuild, Colts are about the same but he loves Luck.

I saw something about someone suggesting about Pete Carrol doing a Pete Carrol and running away and would look at the Giants.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Redskins will retain Jay Gruden as head coach.

The Ringer's Mike Lombardi added that the Skins are in the process of trying to extend assistant coaches' contracts, an obvious implication that Gruden's job is safe. Per RapSheet, there is a "deep understanding" within the organization that Washington disappointed this year due in large part to an unlucky run of injuries. The Redskins can finish 8-8 if they beat the Giants in Week 17.

Well Pederson has a very thin resume and was probably third or fourth choice.

NFL Network's Mike Silver reports Patriots DC Matt Patricia would be the "leading candidate" for the Lions' coaching job if Jim Caldwell gets fired.

Most reports expect Caldwell to be fired after failing to make the playoffs. This isn't the first time Patricia has been linked to Detroit given his ties to GM Bob Quinn, who overlapped with Patricia in New England. Patricia interviewed with multiple teams last year and looks likely to land a head coaching job this offseason.

NFL Network's Mike Silver expects Eagles DC Jim Schwartz to be a "strong candidate" for the Giants' coaching job.

Schwartz has been one of the top defensive playcallers in the league this year. He's had success at both Buffalo and Philadelaphia since his firing from Detroit in 2013. Schwartz would be a solid retread for a team that's one-year removed from the playoffs. With the Eagles on a first-round bye, the Giants could look to bring Schwartz in for an interview next week.

Jim Irsay + Tom Cable + TV cameras and microphones = GOLD.
NFL Network's Mike Silver considers Seahawks assistant Tom Cable a candidate for the Colts' coaching job if Chuck Pagano is fired.

The Colts are expected to move on from Pagano after nearly cutting ties last year. Cable has been thrown around as a retread candidate the past few offseasons but would be a tough sell given Seattle's offensive line struggles. With Andrew Luck on track to return, the Colts could be one of this year's more attractive openings.

WOW Jim Schwatz is going to get another chance. and with the NY Media. thats a car crash that will be worth watching.
It's pretty lame tbh. New power structure in an organization, has ties with other people they worked with at some other organization, a small boys club, musical chairs. I love what the Rams did instead with McVay.

At least Schwartz has at least earned another shot at a HC role. His defences have been very impressive since being a DC.

Cable on the otherhand is a failure of an offensive line coach who must hate Wilson. But * the Colts so they better hire him.
