Logue is going to end up with an ACL the way that injury is moving higher up his leg. Didn't it start in his foot? And Hill again unfortunately, it can be hard to take a trick on the injury front at times.
Logue has the badly rolled ankle which ruled him out for the season and I guess they've decided to complete the surgery on his congenital foot issue while he's banged up.

Hmm. Stephen's cooked, and Brad's frustrated? Could be more to the rumour. Wanted to play with stephen in the middle, but his older bro is relegated to half back perhaps?

I think we can just about put a line through Fyfe, Hill and possibly even Hamling this year too. There's no point bringing any of them back for at best 1 game.

Stephen in particular really worries me, is his body shot?
Ross said Shill just pulled up tight after the game. If we were playing for finals or in a final this week, guaranteed he'd play. But there is not anything left to play for this year worth risking Hill turning that tightness into a further injury/re-injury. That goes for the others too.

Have been saying this for a few years now. Never is and never will be up for review. Strange really

Starts from the top - and I don't mean just Ross

President, CEO, coaches - the lot. All are a part of it (if you believe it - and I'm not sure I do). If you're going to have a clean break, do it right

Our club probably doesn't have the balls to make such wholesale changes, however - especially after how much had to happen in 2011 when we sacked Harvey, got Ross in a coup and essentially a whole bunch of new assistant coaches in one hit

Maybe we need another coup like that - but everyone else? Shake things up a bit? We've stagnated a bit. Lost our hunger, edge and hardness. Losing warrior type players like MDB, Dawson, Barlow, Mzungu - and now Spurr - has hurt our image internally and externally

It’s a common misconception that Collingwood don’t travel - one of the more travelled clubs

Certain supporter groups skew the facts when they seldom play Collingwood on their home deck as a generalisation that they don’t travel because they don’t travel to play their own team

Wasn’t north or Essendon one of the Darling clubs that seldom travelled? I know there was one club over a 5 year period that travelled far less than any of the other Victorian clubs. And rightly so, sold home games were not included in the tally (clubs choice to sell their home game and travel - not a forced trip)

Michael Walters could be a chance to play this weekend after scans revealed the Freo midfielder’s hamstring was not torn as initially suspected after Freo’s win against Carlton on Sunday.

Walters will receive treatment for a lower buttock injury this week in the hope he will respond well enough to face Geelong on Saturday.

Senior physiotherapist Dr Jeff Boyle said Walters would be monitored closely throughout the week.

“At the moment we have an open mind with Michael and will see how he responds during the week,” Boyle said.

Luke Ryan will also be assessed throughout the week due to a hamstring injury sustained in Sunday’s win against the Blues. The defender played out the game on Sunday but pulled up sore on Sunday morning.

“Luke had some tightness in the first quarter but was able to play through and complete the game entirely," Boyle said.

In positive news Nat Fyfe is set to return to the action this weekend after being listed as a test. Fyfe has missed six games after injuring his hamstring in Freo’s round 15 clash against the Lions.

“Nat has still got to get through his football training this week. There will be a final training session on Thursday, so if he gets through that okay he’ll be free to play,” Boyle said.

Bloody confusing. I thought it was reported Walters was going under the knife for PCL??

Bennell such a minor knick to his calf that it was less than grade 1 but he has been TBA for a few weeks now.

Also Physio Boyle is doing the reports now. Is Webber goneski?? Off to Carlton I hope.
