Hawthorn

Premiership defender James Frawley will line up against the Blues, having recovered from the toe injury that forced a premature end to his 2017 campaign.

James Frawley and Conor Glass are the Hawks’ sole inclusions for Saturday’s pre-season clash, with the club only making two changes to last week’s team that faced the Bulldogs.

Hawks Vice-Captain Liam Shiels will travel to Tassie for the club’s Community Camp, however will miss Saturday’s match.

David Mirra will also be an omission from last week’s team as he is set to tie the knot with long term partner Rachel on the weekend.

Carlton

CARLTON has made only one change to its team this week, as it prepares for this Saturday night’s JLT Community Series match against Hawthorn.

Defender Cameron O’Shea, who played in the Northern Blues' practice game last Wednesday night, comes in for injured Blue Jarrod Garlett, who suffered a knock to his shoulder in the match against St Kilda at Ikon Park.

Jacob Weitering and Sam Petrevski-Seton, who were late outs in the Club’s first JLT hit out, have once again been named in the side to take on the Hawks.

Huge clash

One club could find itself on the edge of the abyss should it suffer a shock loss tonight
Will certainly be time for a "where are x at" thread for the loser. Wouldn't be a stretch to write off their entire list either as c grade journeymen at best.

Well you would certainly hope that it’s not the blues - they’re supposed to be heading up while the hawks are heading down so I know where the pressure lies and it’s certainly not with the Hawks
