So we're halfway through the competition and the City Oval Plovers lead all-comers with six wins from six games, ahead of disappointments of the last few years in The Cheetahs and South West Dragons. The Ladyboys are priming for their annual third placed finish, ahead of the Polar Bears, and newcomers Outback Meerkats and Broome Bears. The Mozzie Bites round out the top eight, while the Animals and Draconian Knights are split behind the missing coaches of Shinboner Spirit and Awesome Fourthorn.
