Pie 4 Life
Hall of Famer
Round 6: AFL Round 9
The Cheetahs (2nd) v Animals run wild (8th)
Awesome Fourthorn (12th) v Broome Bears (10th)
Mozzie Bites (6th) v South West Dragons (4th)
City Oval Plovers (1st) v Draconian Knights (11th)
Shinboner Spirit (7th) v The Ladyboys (5th)
Outback Meerkats (9th) v South-Eastern Polar Bears (3rd)
It's the final round before the mid-season break which will see teams reassess where they're at and attempt to do some deals and maybe win the Skooks Cup if I take a look at who actually made it.
Among the top clashes are the fourth placed South West Dragons and sixth placed Mozzie Bites. The Dragons are in ripping form and scoring big, while the Mozzies threw their match last week like it was the Skooks Cup or something. The Cheetahs will look to bounce back from a loss to the Dragons with a rebound win over the Animals, but Drew's boys are back in the eight, and just four points off the second placed Cheetahs. We'd love to see BW return sometime soon as Shinboner Spirit was unbeaten before forfeiting the last two matches, while The Ladyboys had a lucky forfeit of their own against arch rivals Mozzie Bites lst week. The Outback Meerkats will hope they can cause an upset against the Polar Bears, while in less desirable matches, Broome Bears should have the bye unless the Fourthorn's coach returns (username change?) and City Oval Plovers will go in very confident against the eleventh placed Draconian Knights.
Good luck all!
