Well I highly doubt they’re going to get back into Poker machines and have got a VFL team now and an AFLW team on the way. I’m not sure why anyone would take on an AFLW team if they thought it would send them into debt. Also doubt there’s significant costs involved with an AFLW team. Travel 4-5 times a season (max) sponsorship money, less full time staff and player wages would be low.That's not the point I was trying to make. You're saying they have no debt and no pokie machines, I'm saying they have less overhead expenses meaning they don't need the extra money to support the extra resources that a club like us has. They are doing well but there are reasons why we have debt, thankfully it's been reduced now though.
Yes, they don’t have to spend as much as we do. Yes we’re both debt free. But they look like being able to run their business without poker machine money. We don’t look close to that yet.
