You notice there's no or no BS technicalities in the sporting regs of motorbike racing? (Except for a period where Rossi got let off the hook in the early 2000s)

Marquez has had plenty of light penalties and rule bending done for him too. Impressed and a little surprised he got done for dawdling on the racing line but he's a repeat offender and got what he deserves.

They wouldn't have done it if the title was on the line

I think they would have. They pinged him earlier in the year for the same thing (he got a three grid spot penalty) so I think they'd still have done it again, particularly in the knowledge he'll likely be in the top three within the first three corners.
If it was a racing incident then I agree, they would issue some wishy-washy penalty.

Hoped he would hold on. But oh well . Why jack the only one with medium rear. ??

Jack has had a lot of questionable tire choices this year and I don't think any of them have paid off.

I can't stand Rossi but geez he rode well. Small mistake under pressure had massive consequences. He deserved to at least finish second.

Thnx K. Yeah that was my question re jacks tire choice. I will put it in the mystery files. I wanted Rossi to win but pressure.
