The single game rushing record is currently 296 yards, set by Adrian Peterson against the San Diego Chargers in week 9 of the 2007 season (on 30 carries).

Henry needs two more yards to crack the top 50 (Marshal Faulk, Barry Sanders, Tiki Barber, Michael Turner and LaDainian Tomlinson are joint 47th with 220 yards).

On the Jacksonville goal line and Vrabel rushes Dion Lewis three straight times. No sense of theatre.
It was twice, and it looked like Henry wanted to get Dion a TD - he brought himself out of the game when they got 1st down & goal, and then it appeared that Vrabel asked him to go in before the Lewis' second run but he didn't

Five players have scored five rushing touchdowns in a single game. Clinton Portis was the most recent, when he rushed for five touchdowns for the Broncos against the Chiefs in week 14 of the 2003 season. James Stewart (Jaguars v Eagles), Cookie Gilchrist (Bills v Jets), Ricky Watters (49ers v Giants) and Jim Brown (Browns v Colts) are the only other players to have five rushing touchdowns in a game.

There have been more than 50 games in which a player has rushed for four touchdowns, including Jim Brown four times, LaDainian Tomlinson three times, Shaun Alexander three times, Jim Taylor three times and Priest Holmes twice.

What i want to know is did Vrabel only figure out that Henry could play some stage this week?

That INT by Mariota in the first quarter is all you need to see about why the offense should be centred around the run.

Jags clearly this seasons edition of pre-season champs/actual season failures.
I know a lot of the pre-season talk was centered around the effectiveness of Bortles, but the run game has been killer for them on both sides of the ball this season.

Injuries haven't helped their OL, but it's not like Fournette was setting the world on fire last year when they were absurdly healthy either.

Even with that, the drop off is significant. They were ranked #1 for rushing offense last season (currently 18th) and they're allowing more rushing yards per game than they did last season with poor efforts against the Cowboys, Bills, and both games against the Titans. Bring on the Redskins next week :p
