LA is right, the Rams D is where most of the blame goes and something is awry there given they are stacked on D with big name players and big name DC.

Saints are best, Rams are worst in points allowed over last six games

Halfway through the season, the Rams looked like the best team in the NFC behind Jared Goff, and the Saints next in line with Drew Brees leading the way. Those teams have since diverged, with the Saints now cruising toward home-field advantage while the Rams are just holding on trying not to lose a bye week. And a big part of that is the fact that Brees is playing better than Goff.

But a bigger part is on defense, where the Saints have played very well — and the Rams have played very poorly — over the second half of the season.

In fact, over the last six games, the Rams have allowed an NFL-high 188 points, and the Saints have allowed an NFL-low 74 points.

As great as the Rams were in the first half of this season — and they were great, with an 8-0 record and a +109 point differential — they’ve been mediocre at best over the second half of the season, with a 3-3 record and a -4 point differential. The Saints, meanwhile, have been 5-1 with an NFL-best +106 point differential since the halfway point of the season.

If it’s a Rams-Saints NFC Championship Game, it’s easy to see which defense should be trusted, and that’s the one that leads the league in points allowed over the last six games.

It wasnt really this week. The offence failed to put any score pressure on us, and Goff's turnover handed us points.

An article on ESPN or SI mentioned how it would be interesting now that they’re struggling how some of the ‘personalities’ they recruited in their D this year will hold up. Peters already showing signs of cracking with his rant at spectator.

Josh Allen quietly a strong candidate for OROTY

A

Ahead of Mayfield and Barkley? Or even Nelson? Ridiculous. Do you have something against Barkley btw? Should be given a medal for running behind that OL

Aaron Donald or Khalil Mack no chance for MVP? ******* QBs award just like the Brownlow is midfielders only. Obviously appearances on screen dictate winners. Guess Kohli will get Player of the Series in the Tests on at the moment? He's shown at least once every over, even when having a s**t.

Khalil Mack? Are you ******* high?

Aaron Donald isn't close to the most valuable player in the league this year. I can name probably 15+ QB's more valuable to their team

QBs are always valuable, but obviously opposition coaches rate Aaron Donald so highly he is getting double and triple teamed on most plays.

It should be pisseasy playing D for the Rams if you are any of the other 10.

Aaron Donald or Khalil Mack no chance for MVP?
Donald may be leading the league in sacks but he's also the headline of a vastly underperforming defense and Mack doesn't quite have the flashy stats that usually accompany what few defensive MVP candidates there have been.

Unfortunately defensive players basically need to break records on one of the best defenses in the league to have a chance at winning MVP and neither of these two meet both criteria

If JJ Watt couldn’t win it 2-3 years back no one else can. Having said that if it’s mVp, it’s QB every time. I mean Watson is more valuable to Texans win wise than Watt.

what a beast....

--------------

Leonard leads the league in tackles with 146, more than any rookie through 13 games in NFL history. He also has seven sacks, four forced fumbles, seven pass breakups and an interception

Still 2 games left and he missed a game.

Has a lazy 7 sacks too.

Aussie Michael Dickson got selected for his first Pro Bowl. No mention in Sydney papers as yet.

Darius Leonard missed out! I mean I’m a big fan of McKinney but better year than Leonard? Mosley? Did he have that good a season?

Neither were better than Leonard, but that's far from the most egregious Pro Bowl snub this year imo.

In the end I try not to pay much attention to the Pro Bowl given its just a popularity competition among the general public that may not actually know that much about players from other teams
