One may think you'll have no 2020 picks at this rate.
We'll have plenty of picks to get it done. All our picks come with a 20% discount on where they are bid on. Hall wont cost much either.

We'll also trade either Goldstein or Preuss depending on which way the club goes(I'd prefer to keep Preuss)

2019 1st + 2020 1st for Josh Kelly and we are done.

Not quite accurate.

First round bids receive a 20% discount. Second round and later receive a standard discount of 197 points.

But you can always go into deficit on your 2019 picks if you run out of points in 2018.

Thanks Lore.

Question re: finals elimination and the draft.

Am I correct in thinking that as the elimated clubs (Geelong and Sydney) currently hold pick 11 and 12 or is it based on ladder position at Round 23?

Example: Eliminated clubs from the semi's would get picks 13 and 14?

Thanks Lore.

Question re: finals elimination and the draft.

The two clubs eliminated each week get the next two lowest ladder positions (and therefore the next two highest picks, assuming they haven't traded them away already). The order that those two clubs go in is determined by where they finished in round 23.

So if 5th and 8th are eliminated in the first week of finals, the 8th placed team stays 8th because they placed lower at the end of round 23, and the original 5th placed team would finish 7th overall after finals, and have their picks calculated according to that.

So yes, the eliminated clubs this weekend will finish 5th and 6th on the ladder for the purposes of the draft order, and get picks 13 and 14.

Good luck in advance of the month ahead Lore! Thanks again for such a great resource and the work you do. Chief needs to give you a badge already.

Planning on adding the "In" column again like last year?
View attachment 568746
Probably. Half the reason I had that column last year was so I could keep track of where I was up to :p also gives context for a crap hand in the draft I guess

End of the home and away season Richmond has 1648 points. Add in the conca pick and it drops to 1638.
How's this? Looks like the picks calculator was basing itself off the picks as they stood at the end of 2017, have now changed it to the end of 2018 column so should be fixed I think?
