We made a profit (albeit small), our football department is very well resourced and we have very good community programs
Like the indigenous programme meant to highlight all the good work done in the fight against racism?

It's amazing the amount of times you hear "indigenous program" from a club whose greatest legacy of the last few years is racism

We we are leaps and bounds in front of where we were when this administration came on board.

Why do we need to compare to the Crows?

It is no more relevant than you comparing yourselves to the Eagles.

Like Ollie Wines in our system, imagine how strong your club could be with Fagan in charge.

You guys generate more revenue than us. Yet due to internal inefficiencies are just above the breadline. Why don't you guys ever question this? How much resources are being wasted?

KT has publicly said you guys are still looking for a second major sponsor, four months into the AFL Financial Year. And yet we generated more sponsorship for our Woman's team than expected and it was profitable. Something your China Strategy has yet to see in four years, and a lot of resources spent.

You are correct. We probably should not compare us with you guys. The only similarity is being based in SA and playing at Adelaide Oval with the SMA administrating the ground.

Apart from that both business models are quite different. And one is far more successfull than the other

It was amusing listening to Rasheed yesterday defend the lack of a sponsor for Adelaide 500. She said exactly what KT is saying, but she’s been saying it for 12 months.

She was at Port right? Maybe there is a manual for how to deflect this type of thing down there.

Adelaide, Norwood,
Comparing us to the little brother down the road is what made the previous administration complacent.

Current administration is looking beyond SA with a goal of being the biggest club in the country. They also don't feel the need to beat there chests and scream from the rooftop boasting how good they are.

We are the cheese to their chalk.

The Shahins own a big stake in the race these days, money isn't in short supply

Wishful thinking, but I can't see Collingwood making the mistake again. E.g taking another team's spud. They've been burnt there enough times in recent history.

Jenkins is in line to be the main whipping boy of 2018 tbh.
I’m genuinely of the thought
That Jenkins plays that Podsiadly in 2015 role and plays only SANFL.

If they are our little brothers they must be adopted. Same parents is where the similarity stops..

Better hope Nick X doesn't destroy your pokie revenue

What was it last year? Around the $7m mark I believe

You wrote down SFA debt and you still have the $5 mill China fiasco with no new major sponsorship.

Good luck

Some people struggle to differentiate revenue from profit.

We have more revenue (and more expenses) because we have things like a club rooms and a pub. You of all people should know that.

With that logic every sports club in Australia would lose money over the bar and running pokies/meals etc.

They don't. In fact clubrooms and pokies are the lifeblood of many sporting clubs.

If you think your clubrooms and PoW pub are losing you money, is that an admission your administration are running the business poorly?

I'm no John Maynard Keynes but I can tell the difference between $28000 and $648,000.

You may take more in revenue but $7mill of that is from pokies and a huge chunk of AFL and State Govt handout.
How much of your $28000 ( now $18000 thanks to your ridiculous decision to appeal the decision of the AFL appointed golden boy ) is courtesy of the Magpies ?

A Labor loss will cost you a fair whack of both if Nick x has his say.
