Always thought of Charlie as a confidence player, so if Brisbane keeps getting hammered I wouldn't be surprised if his game continues to drop off.

The list is long ... there were two PAPs accused of sexual assault and they settled out of court.
I remember some years back Brogan assaulted a surgeon while out walking his dog, whilst also under investigation for punching a Crows fan at the airport.

I have a slight bit of sympathy for him if the rumours are true and it was basically him being pressured by other people to move up there.
Yes, which is why I would accept him back in a few years for a bag of chips if he doesn't lose his speed.

Not sure what thread I should put this in so I might chuck it in a couple..

When you get to the over 40’s you stop listening to triple j and start listening to ABC radio.. well that’s what I’ve found... anyway every weekday on abc radio they have a program at 11am called “conversations with Richard Fidler” where Richard basically interviews people about their lives and it’s really interesting hearing some of the amazing stories of famous and non famous people..

Anyway.. Today’s episode had Richard Fidler chatting to Peter Bell of both North Melbourne and Freo fame.. and it was a really great insight into the life of Peter Bell and had a good section of it that discussed Pagan drafting him to North Melbourne..

Anyway, if your a footy tragic like me and you enjoy a really good yarn you can listen to it here as a podcast...

http://www.abc.net.au/radio/programs/conversations/conversations-peter-bell/9463078

goes for nearly an hour and I guarantee you’ll enjoy hearing the story of Peter Bell even though he wasn’t a crow!..

it’s a pretty bloody amazing story about a young Korean baby that was adopted by an Aussie couple and become an AFL great... a two time premiership player and a hall of famer.. he nearly didn’t make it and the way his birth mother found him years after giving him up for adoption is amazing.

Trust me... Give it a listen.
Thanks for sharing this, I would’ve come across it eventually in my podcast list but it was a great story and great listening.

I was stoked with 12/Fog for Cameron but I wouldn't be gloating too much just yet. Charlie's speed was important in the finals and we don't have an obvious replacement. He's also a known slow starter and will come good IMO.

This isn't quite correct. He played a great final against Geelong, he played a good half against Sydney, And a good half against the Bulldogs.

He is at best an impact player, always has been and always will be. He was non-existent for much of the year in a good side so what will he be like in a rubbish one without all those who built him into the person he is today ??

I hope he goes ok for his sake but I have huge doubts

Yep. Charles was the icing, but at Brisbane he's going to be expected to be cake ...

He’s an adult/man albeit only early 20’s. He’s had a shit tonne more mentoring than the majority of most of us ever get. it’s all upon him now.
