So when we had a Crows shed we were a proper club? I thought we needed 150 years of history. I didnt realise pokies and a pot and parmy night was enough to make a club.

When is the MCG next available for the big announcement?

IF they do announce another "major" sponsor I hope we don't lose one of our third tier sponsors, like a China Southern Airlines, to them as they'd probably get about the same amount of exposure as they get with us and save a few dollars at the same time.

Yeah Fagan hates us.
He is only interested in providing our footballers and coaches fundiing to perform at their peak and win games of Footy so that we keep going to games and supporting our players.

It would be much better.if he spent more time worrying about things like pre match drinks with sing songs and trips to China........

Last away showdown I attended (Showdown Bananna), the pre match was pretty low key and similar to ours.

Apart from the embarrassing 80s love ballad that is.

They never sellout except showdowns, so gather they see it as an.opportunity to get additional supporters along, who may then go along to more games.

Seems reasonable ploy to me.

WHAT determines the crowd figure at Adelaide Oval?

The AFL and the Oval’s Stadium Management Authority are again at odds leading to two sets of crowd figures at the venue — and, for the second time in six months, the Adelaide Football Club being tagged with an attendance record the league will not recognise.

The AFL says crowd figures are to count only paying tickets that file through the gates.

The SMA, however, is counting all who are in the Oval’s boundary — including staff and free ticketholders.

The AFL adds it has spoken to the SMA asking the venue manager to fall in line with league policy. And the AFL emphasised the point on Friday night when it quickly tore down the “record” 54,158 figure posted by the SMA on the Oval video screens to report 53,141 attended the Crows-Geelong match.

They know it's not going to sellout, so there is no going early.

They need strategies to get more bums on seats.
