I dont think its permanent, thankfully - just filling in the xmas/new years break for Penbo and Goodings.

Its basically lots of Behind Closed Doors replays, and semi-senile ramblings from Pilko.

You would think they could find some young fresh wannabe to do it for 2 weeks....

More like 4 weeks. He was on last year and maybe the year before as well. He actually enjoyed him last year but this year he does feel past it to me.
Thing is he is well loved which is why Fiveaa have him back.
He'd also be cheap too. I'm not sure many young upstarts would be able to do breakfast all by themselves, including the panelling too, which I'd imagine he would be considering there is no one else in the studio with him.

Has anyone listened to the 5am morning run sports show?
Talk about an ad filled boring program ran by Croc Media. Tom Rehn tries his hardest but who is in need of a sports program at that time?

If that were to happen I'd imagine that Sports Today would have to move. Fiveaa wouldn't be happy with that especially when they have given it a shot.

There isn't really a spot for another SEN in this state, radio listeners are drying up as it is.

There is enough oldies around though, so it has a few more years left.
However on second thought if fiveaa had 2 stations 1 digital and 1 normal, the normal catered for sport and the regular catered for regular news and talkback it could work.
Similar to what they do in Melbourne when they have the cricket coverage. They still have regular talkback on the normal station.

Yes .....but the SA market is too small ....even SEN has struggled in the much larger VIC market ......SEN has to grow its audience base, either through increased share of Vic listeners, or spread its wings into other states

Yes. I imagine his review isn't an on-going thing.

The funny thing is that it is so forced I personally disliked how proCrow the station was and how much praise we got and still do get to an extent. And yes there are plenty of AFC Ambassadors who work there.

The difference is they talk up our club because they are genuine supporters and lovers of the club. Like us. I am sure there is a Teal light on the panel at FiveAA that when lit up the presenter is contractually obliged to praise Port.

It is hilarious how false it is.

Pilko did also mention that the players weren't wanted by there respective clubs and said Rockliff was wanted but Brisbane didn't try that hard to keep him
