There’s a little one minute video doing the rounds of Bomber joking around at the end of AFL 360 saying that he’s going to invest in “frozen water” (Ice) now that he’s finished up with football.

A bit of reverse psychology maybe, telling the world on live TV that he’s drug trafficking?[emoji23]

Has the AFL Integrity Unit cleared him yet?

Young players don't mind signing Contracts if the $$$ are right .....they've been educated by the Industry itself, that any Contract can be cut short, when the player decides he's had enough & wants a change

A contract in the AFL is meaningless.

You all know I'm not really a big fan of jobs for the boys but I think this is the best lifeline Ben could get. Lets hope he takes it and gets on with a good life

This is genuine care by the WC Eagles ......after all, they do have a responsibility to Ben ...great to see !

Can we start saying Geelong's flags are tainted?

They already are in the Port Board :

"Do some people really believe that Geelong won 2007 because they were a plucky little team of determined footballers who showed great persistence and with a lick of grit and said determination, a dash of team spirit and a splash of good old fashioned stick to the game plan lads and ta da, a premiership! Oops i forgot, a good old fashioned regimen of illegal performance enhancing drugs that made them unstoppable."
Bahahaha

Idiots

As long as his old ways don't reappear and he impacts the current crop of players with his form of 'culture', it is great, I agree. If they do, club is done for years.

I tend to think entitlement is the beginning of the problem. Cousins will effectively Bev getting sit down money. Won't help him, should be collecting shopping trolleys at a supermarket.

As long as he has to turn up , and is made to turn up each day , then yeah anything offered is ok. That the Eagles offered first is where he should be

It's not. It provides leverage to the club losing the player at the trade table.
I am not sure. It is hard to guage.

Would we have received pick 12 for Cameron if he was not contracted? Maybe, maybe not.

Bullshit.
Ego is the beginning of the problem.
This guy has finally hit rock bottom, now is the time to show empathy.
I admire the WCE for now showing support, now is the time.

He wasn't worth pick 12 even with a contract. Gotta love the trading skills of David Noble. Thank God he's no longer responsible for Adelaide's trade weeks.

No way at all. CC was going, if we anchored at 12, he'd have been going to the PSD, no doubt at all. We'd have struggled to get an early second rounder and if it was offered, we'd have accepted it and ran.
