Two best radio decisions i ever made:

(1) moving from KAFM to JJJ as a teen
(2) turning off 5AA sports show

Don't have to prepare for it, if you never ever listen to it.

I don't do AA or the advertiser, but can't escape Kane completely, either on here or twitter. Plus just knowing he's there shits me.

Traditional radio has one advantage over internet radio - range. There is a lot of Australia where you can receive AM radio, but there's no mobile phone coverage. Not so much in the cities, moreso in the rural areas.

What about during golf swings???

Am I the only one who thinks shushing a crowd during a sporting event is stupid? Why can’t the pros handle a little noise?

Other sports go alright with crowd noise. Imagine a footy player lining up for goal, but then waiting while “quiet please” blares over the PA system.

Basil is popular at 7 for some reason. Rumours that he was lined up for Sunrise to replace Kochie, but with Today constantly shooting itself in the foot, they wouldn’t want to change anything yet.

Sad to hear of the passing of former great Port Adelaide footballer Bruce light even if he did play for Port, great footballer but an even better bloke by all reports.....and of course the uncle of our great Mark Ricciuto, Roo's mother being Bruce's sister....great genes.

No, footy is a team sport which doesn’t require the players concentrating 100% of the time.

I reckon Dane Swan is piss funny. Won't result in me watching that show. I did watch a fair bit of the last celebrity show though. Hadn't watched one before and unlikely to watch one again.
