Why does anyone care who any team's major sponsor is? I don't get it.

I'm all for poking fun at Power supporters - but really, what does a sponsor have to do with anything of importance? We make fun of things like the China deal because it shows a lack of focus on winning a premiership ... but we are all of sudden concerned about who the Power have on their jumper?

You're missing the point, it's not about us caring, it's about them caring. Trolling Port fans about the delay in finding another less-than-major sponsor to replace Renault is about getting under their skin, therein lies the fun, but it wouldn't work if they didn't care.

Amusingly if/when they get someone to sponsor them we'll know exactly who has a thin skin, because it'll be the ones coming to this thread to let us know all about it.
