Needs another counter.

Days lost revenue for Port due to lack of a fully funded major sponsorsbip.

Today is day 115.

Perhaps they can't sign Ollie til they find another major sponsor... ;)

I like Caro (except when she goes 100% Tigers ... never go full-tigers).

Her points are spot on re:Tassie. Weak by the AFL, weak by Hawthorn. Self interest always rules.

Give us one Tassie club ... let us own the region with an academy ... fund our development leagues.

A new team, our colours ... based out of Hobart.

I've seen worse mock-ups than this one:

No it won't be a cash cow, but it will be supported and sustainable. (cough cough Gold Coast, cough cough cough GWS, cough Victorian struggle clubs)
Agree, it’s a disgrace that Tassie don’t have an AFL team of their own and I don’t mean some crumbling VFL dinosaur of a bygone era, a true state based Tassie team.

North Melbourne remind me of the guy in school who will go around asking every girl out on a date in the hope that one of them will finally says yes.

Every year for the last three years they have waved around million dollar cheques, but no one has any interest in going there. It is quite funny to see them continually going into trade week with a massive warchest only to walk out empty handed.

I think the kid needs to change schools and get a fresh start. I hear Tasmania's good...

What it this US Kemo Sabe?
US ... footy supporters living in Tasmania.

I'd adopt the Tassie Titans as my second team in a second - and sign up for a membership to go to the home games.

I would still take my kids to Melbourne once or twice a year to see my mighty Crows, and there is no doubt where my allegiances would lie ... but I'd love to go to AFL (TOP LEVEL) footy at Blundstone every other week with my family.

They are in denial about the state of their list and where they are on the development curve. They need to use $ to retain their better players, draft and trade for development with a 3-5 year timeframe / plan. One or two million dollar stars will do nothing for them.

We can just make up teams and we'd get a sponsor before Port

How about an Adelaide Crows tooth flossing team? I can hear Colgate calling now.

I bet the team would really gel, and we'd brush away the opposition easily.

I bought some tartar control toothpaste. I used to have tartar, but now that shit's under control - Mitch Hedberg

But I like Tartare. It goes well with my fish.

Might create some buzz at least, although that would probably only apply to Sloane and GC Lynch from this years draft class. Wouldn't get massively excited about the rest.

True, I was ignoring the "buzz" factor and that it would be good for them.

Easy to do when you're a supporter of a club that doesn't need "buzz". :)

Giants shit run of injuries continues with top end youngster Will Setterfield looking like he's done an ACL...

That's really crappy news.

The only time worse than doing a serious injury at the end of preseason is leading into the finals.

Wish him all the best.

Buff Tyrell was an absolute legend. Had one eye and could take a spekky.
He kicked about a million goals at Barmera Monash when I was in primary schiol there.

Sending Ryder to WA for JLT 1?
Big risk for no reward, especially with Ladhams going over.
Ryder is their most important player by a fair margin IMO.

What does the Eagles side look like?
If they aren't fielding such a strong side and Pears win, the interweb may break due to an unprecedented level of chest beating
and premiership predicting.

They don't have a major sponsor. Won't get one losing jlt games.

Feel sorry for the sides who have to play them.
Can the Crows sponsor them & we put our heritage emblem on their jumper... ;)

I all seriousness, with the number of new imports - Motloop, Watts, Thomas, Barry in this side alone - they'd want to get them playing together as soon as possible.

If it curtails looking at their kids a bit... well.
