Unless the name is changed from Adelaide Oval it won’t feel like home.5th playing 8th, hadn’t played finals since 2014, Saturday night, dry night, what was their bloody excuse?

Getting 41k to a home final is the standout for me. If you can’t get a sellout for a final, you’re not going to get any minor round sellouts (outside of Showdowns).

Besides Janus, he is the biggest idiot of all.One of their idiots asked why we didn’t sell out every game......
When all you can beat your chest about is crowd noise you should realise your club is in trouble.
But Kochie's Koolaid Kids won't realise that.

Well, if it's a past player AFL benefit thingy, surely he should have some kind of ID or ticket?Judd has a point though. Past and current players shouldn't have to pay to get in. He's coming across as a bit of a sook but he is right.
How can we engineer a trade of Jenkins to Collingwood for a first-rounder? They're in desperate need of a big forward and he fits the bill plus it would allow McGovern to take a more prominent role in our forward line not to mention off-loading an oversized contract onto another club (but he'd be a bargain compared to Mayne!)It's interesting how they've eased Grundy out of the ruck to give Mason Cox a more prominent role.
The plan is a bold one but has just one flaw:
Cox is utterly useless.
Actually his contract next year will be significantly less than this year. How can we engineer a trade of Jenkins to Collingwood for a first-rounder? It was five years IIRC...so you're saying it was front-loaded in first 1-2 years and then falls at the back end? Even if that's the case and the salary cap benefit is minimal I wonder whether he could be a valuable trade commodity to the right club (and when we'd like trade currency for local junior guns...)?Actually his contract next year will be significantly less than this year.
Wishful thinking, but I can't see Collingwood making the mistake again. E.g taking another team's spud. They've been burnt there enough times in recent history. How can we engineer a trade of Jenkins to Collingwood for a first-rounder? I'd absolutely do it, collingwood might be dumb enough to do it tooHow can we engineer a trade of Jenkins to Collingwood for a first-rounder? Jenkins is in line to be the main whipping boy of 2018 tbh.
I think most of us are dirty on Jenkins for his perceived lack of G&D - especially in the grannie...but that said you can't put him in the same category as Mayne and he's certainly no spud. The numbers don't lie - he kicks goals and for the right team could be their #1 or #2 man...could be Collingwood's consolation prize if they miss out on Lynch.Wishful thinking, but I can't see Collingwood making the mistake again. We made a profit (albeit small), our football department is very well resourced and we have very good community programs. If I was a Tealster I would be questioning the real worth of China and how well their club is ran after seeing our results compared to theirs.
So much wasted resources down the road for such little result.
Of course few will.

We we are leaps and bounds in front of where we were when this administration came on board.
Why do we need to compare to the Crows?
It is no more relevant than you comparing yourselves to the Eagles.

The beauty of the crowd-noise bit is that there is no objective way of knowing whether it's true or not.
This is very comforting when you rank a distant second on every measurable metric.
That would be the cardboard?
Small profit! That’s nice. Sturt made a $500k profit and won premierships in all three grades. We made a profit (albeit small), our football department is very well resourced and we have very good community programs.

That's not entirely true. Don't you remember the time when we drowned out the siren against Collingwood?
Port people felt aggrieved by all the talk about it in the media that they retaliated weeks later by trying to break the world sound record for stadium noise. They measured it and failed miserably. Little brother syndrome at it's finest.
