Kidding right?
He had numerous chances to come clean, to save his and other people's careers. His ego didn't allow it. He chose to be a prick. Let him sell chocolates.
He’s wasting his career there. Wonder if they’ll transition from Lyon to Hird. If you remove the drugs thing and look at it purely from a coaching ability standpoint then imho Hird is the better coach. Lyon is past it.

Or bullshit from truth. Some people struggle to differentiate revenue from profit.

Could we actually sponsor them and get our name on their jumper?Happy page 119 I guess, we can still mention 119 right, we weren't THAT bad?
So Port's profit was closer to $1 than it was to ours. Should our club buy a couple of ATMs and sponsor the Power with all of that spare cash? Would get our brand in front of an alternate demographic.

Sure, we'll happily take your dirty money. If Rucci is correct you'd have to pay up though.

Broken clocks and all that. That would be a first for cockrooch.
We been hearing this for over 119 days ....Sure, we'll happily take your dirty money. If Rucci is correct you'd have to pay up though.

Look, I know what Hird did was bad but he has obviously suffered a lot, he tried to kill himself and spent 5 weeks in a psych ward, he’s now selling chocolate.
The chances of him reoffending are zero, give the guy a break and if this position helps him get his life back together, I’m all for it and the public should leave him alone. None of us are angels.
James "Marie Antoinette" Hird
I'm with you .... responsibility he took
Zero point zero
Yes. Just like other athletes and coaching staff and countries continue to reoffend. Hello Russia. Winning is everything and he has shown he doesn't care.
If he cared, he would admit what he ordered put into the players so they know instead of them having to be continually tested for life because they don't know what they were given.
.
Sorry but he endangered lives of athletes and didn't and still doesn't care about that. He has never taken responsibility for his actions and while he has mental health issues, he should not be welcome back into any sporting environment or an environment where he is responsible for other people's health and wellbeing. He knew better at the time and didn't care.
Based on what?
Has Hird ever coached without the drugs thing?
He didn’t seem to have much of a plan-B once the Thymosin started wearing off.

Many of the possible substances in use are ones that have been identified to speed up cancerous growths btw. How would that make you feel as an athlete? If he cared he would have apologised to those players. If he cared about anyone but himself he wouldn't have kept doing all the pointless law suits past the point of him being told he couldn't win and to stop it. He only cares about himself purely when you look at his actions before, during, and since.
I also think Goodwin shouldn't be allowed to coach and I think everyone involved should have been ousted never to return. I've worked in the area of ethics in this country and what happened at Essendon was downright horrifying and how no one is in jail is only because the AFL don't want that to happen.
I'm sure his Columbian connections came to good use...Bahahaha, just Googled - http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/ja...a/news-story/7b505b4b43d5eae76e33f90235ab1cf3
He's selling chocolate from cacao beans grown in Colombia, a place which was previously the drug capital of the world. I swear you couldn't write this stuff.
Should be a good injection of new ideas to the freo box.Ross is getting desperate.
It's not like Hird is a good coach, outside of getting an illegal advantage...
Well he hasn't cared to come out & taken responsibility publicly.Still doesn’t care? How do you know?
Do you think he would reoffend?
You’ve been far more empathetic ever since your own fall from grace; though I’m sure agreeing with Vader was just an aberration, a cry for help![]()

Depends on the player. Rookies have been expendable and had to try the courts for compensation/information. He hasn’t spoken to the players and those still there were because they got good money. Others have left and Ryder couldn’t get out quickly. There was strong talk about Monfries not happy with certain things *cough* injections, as his reason for leaving.Do you know he hasn’t apologies to the players? Have any players come out and blamed Hird? Most don’t even blame the club. That says a lot about who was to blame.
He was outed as one of alex_is_on_fire's aliases.Must have missed something, what did EC do?
