I can’t stand the way he sticks up for every sportsman he likes that’s South Aussie or Australian, there is no credibility if your always siding with them no matter what they’ve done.

Nothing says 'we can't get people to support us' more than offering free tickets and discounts via about 8 different methods. Smacks of desperation

So to recap:
Chinese give Port money they have to spend in China teaching the Chinese about Oliveball.
The good PR gets them over the line for Kidman.
They get 5k bogan tourists visiting China who would've normally gone to Bali for their holiday.
TinTin has a memory that will last him for ever.
The AFL spends $$$$$ upgrading their driving range.

What I can’t figure out is how you don’t even have to argue with their claims to be left scratching your head

For example, so it’s all a big success. They love Port for their pioneering success, humility and values. Port is so popular they’ve made more incredible inroads in less time than anyone. The Chinese love everything Ports

Happy to accept every word of that

Only thing is, then surely a Chinese company (maybe an airline?) would be falling over themselves to get prime advertising space on their guernsey and all the positive PR reflected from being associated with everyone’s favourite new team from Australia?

No brainer isn’t it?
