Out there idea... Vic clubs to fly interstate and spend a couple of nights in GF week. Parade in both states Thursday interstate Friday over there.

That won’t change the fact the Vic teams get to play the GF at their home ground.

This year Richmond play 14 games at the G, us 2.

If they want some semblance of equity, each team should be playing 6 games at the G, no matter the crowds.

Time for Fagan to step up. Get the 9 clubs together and start a protest. I would fully support the club boycotting games next year if this disgraceful deal goes through.

I think afl people tend to overate the potential of afl to succeed overseas like port has with China.

My first thoughts were that Caro was sent in by the AFL to present an outcome palatable to the AFL, not because the she was coming to the rescue of the Power

My impression as soon as it was reported what she said was that it was the AFL putting out a feeler to see what the reaction would be to the narrative. I said so in here at the time. the AFL have used her like that before.

That was my problem a couple of weeks ago...

We lost to Adelaide but that's ok, most teams will struggle to beat Adelaide over there this year, Adelaide are too good over there but nothing to worry about.

Well no shit, that's what a home ground advantage is.

But somehow on GF day the best team will always win because it's all equal and fair.

It is not whinging in calling out a grossly unfair agreement which fundamentally disadvantages nearly half the competition.

It is a disgraceful decision and one that should be called out for what it is.

Thought you were better than a daft moron screaming 'SJW!!1!', but to address your question, there's nothing to suggest that the progressively minded think victim blaming is somehow acceptable when a woman is doing it (seriously, this is a daft assertion and nobody actually thinks this) - and it's even more disappointing that Caro pushed the victim blaming narrative, but it's hard to imagine a great backlash given the form of media as opposed to a prime time TV show.
