Please bring them and kersten back so GC got a bit more chance .
I have always enjoyed your work mate but for the life of me can’t understand how you swapped teams. Either way it will be an interesting 24 months for GCS and even more so if Lynch leaves as there doesn’t seem to be an easy replacement for him.

Maybe should look at Freo history as the second team in the state and build culture instead of flashy players from other state . Freo ,GC, GWS all second team from the state that have not win anything yet . As much people said Gws and Gc as plastic team , majority of these players will go to vic bottom team carlton,North , Melbourne ,St kilda than Freo without these new team .

Weak as piss Sydney. Longmire still with the 'kick it to Buddy' gameplan. They escape lots of media attention. Why Longmire continues to play Rohan is beyond me. They would love to have Membrey out there, losing him for nothing and keeping Goodes who was obviously finished was an incredibly bad decision.

Hearing things aren't good down at East Perth. They had a players only meeting and some players didn't bother to show up.
Couldn’t be more pleased. Add to this east perth board members who are clearly against the alignment. How many wce listed players played on the weekend?

Nothing against you , but a lot of people said Port recruit softie like motlop, Watts , etc before the match .
I said it and stand by it. Their recruits are all front runners except Rockliff who is an accumulator with minimal impact. They were all ordinary today.

Meanwhile Sydney looked ordinary last week and only got over WC because of Buddy putting on a show and not really that much better against Port today either. Look pretty similar to the Sydney at the start of last year - so won't be writing them off yet though.

Port had a good team prior to trade period. Their improvement (if it happens, have been promising it for years) will be far more about their key players standing up in tough times more so than their new recruits.

Long haired Champs.
Honestly don’t think it was ever bearable. Tried to watch a couple of times and couldn’t watch to the finish.
Foxsports AFL have infantile tripe as their default.
On the Couch was bearable and sometimes good.So get Garry Lyon, wtf.
I'd chew broken glass before sitting through 360.

Immediately following our win lastnight Foxsports had Deermie talking shit about his cricketing prowess.
Some tripe called 'Holden Colorado' Stretch.
How do they conjure this juvenile garbage up.
Such a low common denominator.
A great sport in a disgraceful wrapping.
Gotta be sad when Open Mike is the best.

Yeah I agree but did Rockliff, Motlop or Watts do much? Not dissimilar to the Bombers trying to buy a premiership via trades. Guys like Stringer and Saad are also known for going missing. Although I do rate Smith and he was their best player easily last night imo.

How is this the same Bulldogs who won the flag 18 months ago.... Disgraceful
They drank their own bath water and were contempt to live off that one premiership for the rest of their careers. It’s a shame because they’re still so young and IMO they’ll look back one day and think they missed an opportunity for sustained success because they got lazy.

Dixon has been with Port for a while. Nothing wrong with that trade we were heavily into Dixon.

My issue with Port’s trading was the additional delisted pick ups like McKenzie, Trengrove, Lindsay Thomas (seriously WTF). First draft pick in 2014 was 56, first draft pick in 2015 was 37 and first pick in 2017 was 47. They did ok in 2016. Picking up spuds like Trengrove, the cannon and Lindsay takes up a list spot and potentially stunts development of some of their younger players. They are obviously investing heavily for 2018/19 premiership as it will be a heavy fall thereafter.

Perhaps the players taken with the late, late picks wouldn't be as good as the recycled players so they picked mature bodied depth that had shown something before over draft pick #90 who hasn't?

What is the different having lindsay ,Trengrove under rookie contract playing in Reserve compare to D.pearce or Spurr for Peel and allow port to continue to put AFL game time into these players Marshall (19), Spp (19), bonner (21), bryne jones (22) ,Dan houston (20) douga howard (22). As your mention Spud don't perform in reserve all these young player will keep getting AFL games .
