Time for a bid, Nick Blakey nominated by Giants.
Over to Sydney and Sin City
Pick 10..Sydney Stack
A bit of a reach I know, but he fits our needs. His accumulation in the midfield, speed and the ability to play round 1 (has played in the wafl successfully already) forced me to pick him. He's got talent to spare also.
Coona Blues you're up.
Edit your Pick No. to 11 Pablito. There was a matched bid on Blakey earlier.Pick 10..Sydney Stack

I'm seriously missing something, as I don't see much in Jones at all.
Stack is interesting at 10, although I feel he'll be more like a 30 odd pick at the ND. Who knows.

Giants select Jackson Hately
Plenty of options with outside runners, but with Port selecting next feel obligated to take inside mid
from SA. Giants will be regrouping with departures and possible raids coming at the end of the season.
Hately projects very well, a 192cm midfielder with elite hands. Extractor with potential to provide
Cripps/Oliver type service to the Giants midfielders.
With Callan Ward ageing a little, an acquisition like Hately will provide an excellent succession plan
in a couple of years. Giants have more selections early in the draft to add some more speed and class
to the mix.

Cracking choices CB. Both will be guns.Options aplenty. Taken an inside mid, who has some "flight" potential, might be time for a bit each way.
The Giants select Chayce Jones.
Inside/outside type who projects more as an outside player (IMO) in the big league. Can play wing, forward
half back or in the guts. An elite runner and like many Tassie boys, hard at it. There will be no sense of
entitlement. Tackling is a notable feature of his game. Workaholic, who while offering as a Scully replacement
of sorts, has more value at the coalface.
Tasmanian mitigates the go home factor, see this as a no risk option who can potentially add to multiple
areas as they remodel the line up. Perfect type to spend his initial games in a pressure forward type role,
while developing and adjusting to AFL.
