Pick 23 Giants select Jez McLennan
Wanted to shore up the defence with the departure of Wilson last year, Shaw nearing the end etc.
Elite disposal and a knack for reading the game. Reported as adding a more contested edge to his game.
Looms as a successor to Shaw, in turn freeing up Whitfield and Williams for more attacking roles.
Considered Butters, midfielder with more x factor, but is more about building and replenishing the list.
He and Cumming present likely defensive options for the next generation of Giants.

Great pick, was my target.
Pick 24 West Coast Select Ely Smith.
Ely has been underrated all year as the prevailing criticism had been fitness. Combine rolled around and he blitzed it. He’s a bull inside and has some burst. Reportedly very good character. He fits into the West Coast team nicely, has time to develop and will help support the west coast midfield brigade which lacks some talent coming through.

Pick 25 Adelaide: Xavier O'Halloran
I had 3 players in my Top 12 who i wanted to pick here so was sorta hoping 1 or 2 of them might go before this pick to make it easier, but no cigar lol.
I've opted for O'Halloran because the Crows really need to add 2 midfielders, preferably with burst, amongst their 4 Top 25 picks. RCD and O'Halloran fill the brief and i rate both highly. O'Halloran ticks nearly all boxes for a draftee. Good footballer, good athletically, good leadership, good competitor, good physique and good versatility.
Happy to add some good quality meat and potatoes to my slightly speculative but high reward crop of King, RCD and Sturt.

I don't know him but reckon this guy could be a beauty.
Get a vibe of a Adrian Hickmott / Sam Docherty mix about him, which is probably why I like him so much.
Looked really strong and solid through the champs and Kennerley wan't too bad either.
Would be good if we dropped a video of the chosen player if available, also.

He’s got the talent and athleticism. Don’t need to say much about this pick other than west coast can develop him behind Jetta and have a ready replacement. Think he could be steal of the draft or a bust. Premiers can afford to take the risk.

Not brutal at all. It takes a decent level of commitment to regularly check in to ensure we all keep
reasonable momentum with this "Phantom". Those giving "administrative support" need an even
greater diligence and commitment. If posters are not focussed then their "commitment" is
grossly unfair to all participants and watchers.

For Subiaco the midfielder averaged 25.9 disposals and 7.3 tackles per game in the WAFL Colts competition this season.

Dashing wingman providing superb run, and better than average disposal. Good size
for an outside runner, will offer power on top of pace. Again Tassie boy, after taking
Jones earlier minimising go home fears.
Considered the lighter, perhaps classier Butters here, as well as Bailey Williams,
considering the Giants ruck shortage. Haven't been forced to take Briggs, and
seemingly Mumford to be picked up with last pick via some contrived loophole.
With young Flynn already in the wings to support the veterans Mumford and Simpson
it probably makes little sense to commit a pick to another young forward/ruck.
