In terms of sides, Adelaide and Sydney are probably the two strongest sides when considering structural strength and list strength, with myself tipping Adelaide through bias. GWS are becoming a side that is incapable of taking the next step, and will probably remain like this until they get rid of Cameron; talented lists, no matter how scary can only go so far. Geelong are the late 00s Western Bulldogs of this generation, their max is a losing preliminary.
Beyond that the ones of note, Essendon I think will push Geelong but fall just short, Port are probably strong enough for a lower 8 spot, but have a really bad coach. Bulldogs to rebound a bit, but not hit the heights of 16 just yet. Richmond will most likely follow a Bulldogs path, campaigns after a premiership won on emotion and pressure don't usually hit those lofty heights. Brisbane are a good bet to really jump up, lot of good talent there currently. Melbourne just feels like they are in for a really disappointing campaign after the AFLPA debacle and Norf are just dogshit bad.
