Who is the most likely DEF/FWD rookie to get a game? Keefe?

Howe will probably get switched back to Hanley or Savage.
Yes probably .....i've got Nathan Murphy currently, with no real hopes he'll play .....maybe keep an eye on Harry Dear, longshot

IIRC Howe is still injured ? .....good side, well balanced ....how's rnd 14 looking

To get the max value from Sicily, you'll need a DEF / FWD Rookie
There's probably a fair few issues in your team if you require Sicily's DPP from the get go.
It's a nice bonus, and handy later in the year when you have an almost complete squad and when making trades, but it's hardly a necessity from round 1.

Was carrying an injury during the first 7 games of last year. Missed 10 rounds, came back fully recovered and averaged 93 from round 17-23. 95 if you include finals.
Turns 24 this year so still has loads of improvement in him. I reckon he'll average 90+ for sure if he plays 20+ games.
Scored 91 in JLT, even though he had 5 clangers, which is a bit high for him. I think he'll be a great POD.
I really wanna pick Vlas, partly because then I can call my team FromFirstToVlastuin, continuing my Richmond players themed names, and a constant reminder that I am now trash at SC and will never rank well ever again.
I also think he'll be a solid scorer this year :thumbsu:

Mmmm ......you must have better & more reliable DEF / FWD Rookies than the rest of us .....me, i'm counting upon the "potential" need to cover a non playing rookie Back or Fwd

That's because you don't value DPP ...:p ;)

After changing countless times again. I've come to this team, and it's probably 95% what my Round 1 team will look like.
Unsure on Marchbank though atm. If by Round 1 I don't feel confident with him, then i'll probably downgrade him to a rookie, then EITHER upgrade Bundy -> Heeney, OR if I don't feel Lycett is up to it, Lycett ->Kreuzer/Ryder/Goldstein.
If I do Bundy -> Heeney, it means i'll have 5 keeper forwards, which means I don't have to worry about FWD rookies, as I can count the forward rookies that might play RD 1 on one hand.
Midfield is Locked.

Like it. Mids ruck and forward very close to mine to. The Lycett pick opens up some options for sure.

If we had rookies that looked solid I reckon this would be just about viable. Laird and Hibbo Locked, Vlastuin I think will average around 95 and importantly will pretty much score 90-100 each week.
Midfield is bananas, a lot of the big money needed to generate a good midfield is already there, so as long as you could get decent money production from your rookies upgrading the rest of your team should be fairly simply.
Gawn given. Only other ruck I really like is Kreuzer but I don’t know if I can spend 600k on him, did look good last night though.
Happy with that forward 4, reckon they will all be up there come the end of the year.

Rookies would be the problem, you will fill it round 1 but long term they don’t look like making a whole lot of money outside the mids. Inevitably you will end up dropping a mid for a few midpricers, but it’s a nice concept.

Good comments .......your DEF is too thin & too reliant on 3 playing rookies ....will that happen consistently ? .....IMO you need to bolster your D4

Mu current midfield. Also have Dow, Banfield and Barry on the pine. Thoughts on Ellis-Yolmen? Or would someone like LDU or Clark be a better option for around 80-100k less?

I served Yolmen at work today and he said his knee is fully recovered.

(just wanted to say i served him)

That being said I think Armo is better value.
