Stephenson is a deserved winner, but the fact that Worpel and Dow didn’t get a single vote between them (and Francis got 1) shows the quality of the judging panel.

Rayner, Brayshaw, Dow, Cerra all showed why they should be top five picks.

Stevenson should have no doubt been in the top five as well.

Of the rest of the first round, Naughton, Richards and Higgins look like they will be at the very least solid long term players.

And there will be some handy pick ups in the later rounds as well, but there always seems to be a couple of clubs that brain fart early in the draft.

Yeah Francis should have got way more than one vote. Bit of a travesty that only one guy on the panel could see it. But what can you do.

I'm fairly sure that Worpel scored 2 votes in there somewhere, while another Hawk in Morrison had 1.

Yep, still early but last years draft looks like it is going to be a very good one.

It'll be interesting in future years to see how it stacks up against the so called super draft of this year.
