I think QB decides it. If Melbourne thrash Collingwood on the back of another dominant game from Gawn its all over.

If he and Grundy split it then its a coin flip.

Its very tough though. Very different players despite playing the same position.
Surely you would think which team gains the early dominance would dictate how each ruckman plays thier individual game?

If the dees get on top from the start see Gawn pushing forward taking contested pack marks dragging Grundy forward (much like what he did to Essendon ruckman) and out of Collingwoods offence

cotchin (will be captain) , rance, martin and caddy all locks atm, unless something drastic changes
Cotchin is in at this stage, far from guaranteed to be captain though. Caddy would also be in. Rance is borderline and Martin would only be in on reputation atm

Rance is a lock on reputation only.

Definitely in contention but I don't think you can say he has been objectively better than Jonas, Tarrant and Andrews as genuine KPDs this season.

Sweet Jesus should be banned from AA threads. Had NFI last year too from memory.

Never seen someone refuse to answer a simple question so many times. Eventually rattles of a list of things he knows nobody here has access to. Convienent. On par with simply dismissing relevant stats as irrelevant, you know, just 'cos (or specifically because they destroy his argument).

Does the forum have the ability to limit a posters ability to post in a thread once it becomes above a certain % of posts? Would certainly makes things a smoother read.

Semi on topic, have been really impressed with Caddy, Jake Lloyd & Paul Seedsman this year. I don't believe any of them have got a jumper before so fingers crossed for them!

Just hit block if you're not happy with a poster.

I would have Gawn as the Ruckman, just beats up on everyone. Has that DGAF attitude to his game.
Grundy probably on the bench as backup from where it stand currently.

Followed by Martin and NN.
Nankervis beat both Gawn and Grundy. Not in hit outs but in influence over the game. He had 25 possessions in the last quarters alone against Melbourne and Collingwood. Not saying he is all AA but flies well under the radar. 3rd at Richmond in clearances and contested possessions, averages over 18 possessions and about 5 tackles a game. Not bad for a ruckman.

He certainly did well against Grundy it was pretty even, i cant agree with you on Gawn though, he got worked over in that contest.
Nank is pretty solid though.

Nankervis did not beat Gawn so please stop with the shit

Nankervis had14 touches (7 clangers), 0 marks, 4 free kicks against and 19 hitouts v Melbourne. So he effectively had 7 effective disposals for the game lol

Gawn had 16 possessions, 6 marks, 8 tackles & 56 hitouts

Okay, might have mistaken the Melb. game with another. Went from memory (shonky).

Yeah but.. but..

if you normalise it for their ability. Nankervis did ok.

A bit like a tagger getting 5 possessions but keeping a star to 18 possessions.

Nankervis over Gawn for the "tried the hardest" all australian team for mine.

Will stick with the Gawn/Grundy combo for the real AA
