What are peoples thoughts on Geelongs Fogerty vs Barry? Who are their competition who are out of the side atm. Who has better JS/Scoring potential?

Have Barry at the moment, but will he last? Will Fogerty last?
Fogarty a bit of an unknown just yet. We know he's a prolific tackler, which if helps him out if he can keep that in his game as a small fwd. There'll be lots of shuffling at the cats over the next few weeks, but the high-pressure fwd is a role they haven't nailed yet and he could make it his own. Lots of uncertainty with the geelong side in general.

We know what we're getting with Barry as a mature age player, he'll tie up a spot on the wing and half fwd, provide outside run. Currently keeping Amon out of the 22, and Gray could take his place next week. Or Marshall could go for Gray if they're too tall. They're the only real challenges for Barry in the short term I reckon.

Both could be gone next week. But I liked what I saw from Barry in JLT, and you don't pick up a mature age player in the main draft unless you see a clear role for them (see: Tim Kelly).

we played all 4 of Dixon/Westhoff/Watts/Marshall against Crows and it seems to work fine.

Westhoff will play midfield for this year. Dixon/Watts/Marshall our 3 talls up fwd IMO
It'll be interesting to see how you guys structure up; got Gray Wingard Motlop and Rockliff to roll through there as well! Surely you'd want at least two of them at any given time. I know Dixon provides great pressure as a tall but there's a real danger that teams will slingshot out there if the mix isn't right.

No one knows.
There is no magic formula to these things.

The mature age recruit who's been scoring 100s in JLT might suddenly drop a 20.
The guy who hasn't played any pre-season might pump out 100.

At the start of the season I just put the most expensive rookies on the field.
There's no science to that, but I figure they're the most talented.

Can anyone advise which rookies will be best to start on field? Thanks

That's one stacked midfield. Very impressive though.

As Nameless said, it's a crap shoot with the rookies, but I'd suggest Fritsch on the field over Ryan. Otherwise they look about right to me.
Keefe's not playing btw.

Yeah thanks mate. The defence is in tatters, but IMO best room for rookie growth in defence.
Just gotta hope we’ve all picked the right rookies, and avoid any Zerrett occurrences AKA last night

Hi guys. Are there any West Coast supporters out there? I'm considering replacing one of Ryan or Venables up forward for Waterman. Who do you think has the better job security or should I just keep both Ryan and Venables?
