Most of the big rookies are looking underwhelming now that the real stuff has started and it’s not just a cake walk in the practice games.

As a side note, Larkey kicked 8 in the VFL today, could be an early downgrade FWD target.

Anyone know anything about Fogarty or Kelly for Geelong?
Kelly: Mature age recruit (23 years old), finished 2nd in Sandover Medal in the WAFL last year. Pretty good balance with his inside & outside game. Won’t play as much inside as he did in the JLT, considering Ablett/ J. Selwood/ Duncan/ Menegola (and Danger when fit) are ahead of him. I expect him to be our Motlop replacement, but a much more contested player than Motlop which brings the tackles & contested possessions. But because of his mature body I expect him to play most games this year if not all of them, probably around the HFF. I expect most of his scores to be between 60-80 SuperCoach points. Locked in at M8 for me.

Fogarty: Will eventually be a midfielder but for now will play a pressure forward role for us. Has a bit of class, good ball user, loves to tackle & pressure which is the main reason he’s gotten his debut. I’m not picking him though, just a bit worried about his job security considering we have Cockatoo to come back in, along with Jones & Miers pushing for a small forward position, plus small forwards don’t always score well of course.

Let's see how these West Coast cheapies go
I have none of them, but I got a few rookies I'd like to piss off, so I need some replacement candidates to step up

Hmm have ryan but last minute indecision to keep or go venables or waterman... not overly concerned if waterman only plays 5 before JK comes back... there’ll be downgrades by then...

a few here have Cole 50/50 on JS, whereas I think Zuthrie is a lock to play for most of the season. He was very impressive last year and has added 3kg of muscle to his frame. He was in my team for a while and may still make his way in if I need to chuck Coffield in the middle if Barry/Holman don't get named
Great call on Zuthrie TBA...very very nice:thumbsu::fire::rainbow:
