Its all about predicting the best "bubble" investment on my benches
a few here have Cole 50/50 on JS, whereas I think Zuthrie is a lock to play for most of the season. He was very impressive last year and has added 3kg of muscle to his frame. He was in my team for a while and may still make his way in if I need to chuck Coffield in the middle if Barry/Holman don't get named

With Brodie, it's whether or not Dew sees him as becoming a main mid for the Suns this year.

He has Hall, Lyons, Swallow, Miller, Fiorini, Barlow to contend with for contested ball, having Brodie could make it a bit top heavy and that is what Dew is thinking IMO. however, Swallow is injury prone AF, so a spot could open up, but its too risky.

I would only pick Brodie, if I was picking Danger (which I'm not) due to cash. LDU/Dow/Clark/Jacobs are all other options around that 200k price
I cannot for the life of me see why Dew would play Barlow (end of career) over the future in Will Brodie?
For my SC purposes and to better the GCS Brodie should be played this year as often as possible.

Yeah Coff or Finlayson on a mid bench works. I am not fielding a mid rook this year and only Fritsch as a fwd. The backline however may carry 4 under $200k rooks on field as I am hoping I have sussed 6 back rooks to name. The next 24 hours will tell the story as usual.

3kg of muscle huh. Another 17kg and he might be on the verge of looking like a footballer. :moustache:

Only Thursday night decision is Garlett on fwd or mid bench (if named). Might be a toug one.
Locked on my mid bench if he's named
In the forward line we'll have an abundance of West Coast cheapies to pick from. In the middle we probably won't get Barry and at this stage it's 50/50 that we're getting Holman.

Cheers. I had forgot about Langdon. I don't want Venables so Langdon and Ryan on fwd bench. Garlett, Holman and Banfield on mid bench.

Currently rolling with:

Coffield, Naughton, Murray (Doedee, Finlayson)

Brayshaw, Kelly (Banfield, Garlett, Holman)

(Cameron)

Fritsch (ZGL, Ryan)

I will have an anxiety attack if Garlett and/or Holman aren't named

Exactly the same but I've had to put Olango in to afford Coffield (from Murphy).

Maybe cos he wants to coach more than 5 games
