Paddy Dow confirmed to make his debut for Carlton against Richmond tomorrow night. Jarrod Garlett, Matt Kennedy and Aaron Mullett will all play for the Blues.
Garletttt lock on the bench!
Might still grab Dow, worried that Brodie won't be there round 1.
I cannot for the life of me see why Dew would play Barlow (end of career) over the future in Will Brodie?
For my SC purposes and to better the GCS Brodie should be played this year as often as possible.

Hes numbers were alright around 20 touches a game but his SC score's were only about 70.Also high hand ball receives so hes team mates are looking for him.
Saw retirees Lonergan and Mackie being interviewed on TV last night and it got me wondering who their likely replacements are in the Geelong defence this season. Do Geelong supporters feel they're departure will create a chance for any specific fringe player to become decent SC scorers? Are there particular rookies who might get regular games in their spots?
The Geelong midfield and forward rookies really worry me this season. They could be a trap. About 5 of them performed well enough in the JLT to be considered for a round 1 spot in the likely absence of Danger and Menegola, but which if any of the ones named for round 1 will still be there when those players return and last to even play 3 games?

Yes you're probably right that the Taylor forward experiment will, and should, be over. Guthrie's interesting, but he was already getting games late last season and all those sub 60s scores combined with his price make him a no go zone for me. Agreed on Kelly. He's the one Geelong rookie I'm confident about.
