Ah. Ok. Just haven’t noticed him mentioned anywhere. Quiet game?
Yeah I think so, gave away a couple of frees and at least 1 50m penalty. I had an eye on my little boy so the football was like watching a second tv. He played good minutes of the game and walked off with the team at the end, so he is getting closer at least fitness wise. Hopefully I haven't done him too much of an injustice.

Larkey in the goals again. Both he and Xerri spent a bit of time on Rowe last week, who publicly mauled Josh Kennedy yesterday. It would have been a great learning experience for the both of them to play on an AFL quality defender and a big bodied one to boot.
Watching a bit of the Adelaide v Sydney game the other night I personally think Larkey has to come in for the game against Sydney in a couple of weeks time. Sydney's backline was stretched against the Adelaide talls and they had a tough time trying to stop them (Walker 16 touches, 7 marks, 4 goals BOG, Jenkins 11 touches, 3 marks, 3 goals and Lynch 25 touches, 9 marks). Brown and Larkey playing the Walker and Jenkins roles, while Waite plays the Lynch role. I actually wouldn't be against giving him a run next week against a really ordinary Port backline either.

Big Majak showed up during the 1st quarter and my little boy, suitably impressed by the "big man from the tv" went and offered him a burger ring!.

I think i saw this... were they in some kind of lunch box container... not a packet of burger rings. I was impressed so many of the players had come along. Little blonde ( i think) guy.

Losing to a team like Frankston is a really poor sign. It’s hard to comment on individual efforts without watching the game, but as a collective effort - we should have young blokes pushing for selection and developing - losing to Frankston is a sign of complacency.

Something has been amiss down there then in containing their smalls.
If last week is anything to go by then it's the midfield.

We're clearly also a little top heavy with those 3 back there, but what else can they do? They all deserve games.

Spose that’s the beauty of having a stand alone side, it’s more about development, not winning
