Well the crows have used the AFL site to put in their opening trade bid as pick 1. I'm guessing they will be angling to upgrade one of their first rounders to pick 1
List managers from the non finalists have already met up this week so I’m guessing negotiations are under way.

The people talking about Eric's brick hands makes me think of our auld Stone Hands ex forward who turned into a great defender ... so easy fix - Hipwood and Andrews just swap places that way we get a forward who reads the play, takes marks and has an accurate kick and a back who can make a contest and bring the ball to ground

On the Couch last night said Carlton.
Will be interesting to see that one unfold.
And watch Adelaide return the favour and hold Carlton over a barrel after the Gibbs deals for the last 2 yrs.
And we all know that they will after the Cameron trade last year.
McGovern has 2 yrs on his contract as well.

Nathan Freeman was delisted - I'd be in his year about signing as a delisted free agent for one year if we'll have the space - there's a risk he will get injured again, but if he can stay on the park (and I'd back our medical team here) then he could turn into a player.
Yep, I liked him in his draft year, he has/had serious pace, get a medical done and if we think he's worth the risk rookie him.

He’s a good player but I just don’t think we have the room for him honestly. Currently we might delist four or five players. We would probably grab Ross or Wallis, then our first pick, second pick and a bid on McFadyen. I think he’d be alright but his injuries are just too concerning for us to take a punt.

If he's on a minimum deal/contract then it is a small risk. I agree it comes down to list space.

If Adelaide trade for pick one then that’s very good for us. I believe we’d have a good chance of negotiating with Gold Coast to move up one or two spots to secure Walsh as a pick.

Additionally, I’m still on the Ross wagon. Hopefully, we could make a deal with the Saints to still get Ross. Maybe send next years first and third for him and their second?

Honestly, I’m appreciating and loving the position we are in. People may want to come to Brisbane!

Who says we don’t.
Which gun have we got that hasn't want to come home?
Beams - come home for his sick dad
Cameron - come home
Christensen - arguable gun. position at Geelong was untenable if you believe the rumours but the fact he came here out of the other clubs was a good sign.
Robinson - last chance saloon, not a gun at the time

Not sure who else.
Dayne Beams & Charlie Cameron?
Wish we could get gun players wanting to come to our club and not jsut ones wanting to return home

Can't see GC giving us pick 2 because if Adelaide grab Lukocious then the next best player would be Walsh. GC will get pick 2 and 3, they will give us pick 3 and then pick Walsh at 2

Can you blame the players for how bad we have been the last 7-8 years? Wheel is slowly turning. :thumbsu:
