I can't see how Dahlhaus off field anything would be too much of an issue.

Unless he's touching kds like the * pedo.

I mean we did offer Martin $1.5m, and he ain't no Angel.
You live with Martin Carey Franklin as they win matches, bring numbers through the gates, sell merchandise.

Dahlhaus is not doing any if that.

Bloody wife wants to travel later this year, but I cannot be bothered packing Huge Luggage.
I have plenty of Cockatoos around my joint. They are bloody annoying with their squawking!

Really not understanding the negativity on picking up Aaron Hall ?

Aside from this year (6 games) His last two seasons have been very solid and consistent production wise

2017 averaged 26 touches, 4 tackles and played 19 games.
2016 averaged 28 touches 4 tackles and played 17 games.

Am aware that disposal stats aren’t everything, as well as disposal eff% (70%+ in ‘18,’17,’16) However, the guy is a line-breaker, can accumulate the footy consistently, doesn’t butcher it and is a metres gained player averaging 368(injured this year),498 and 528 the last 3 years.

Aside from turning 28 this year, and provided we don’t pay anything higher than a 4th or a 5th rounder for him would be a good contributor and addressed our pace issue
Not a star, but the idea of “don’t want him just because we didn’t get Gaff or Polec” is weird. Could do worse.
I don’t mind it for a cheap contract, but we do have to be mindful of the space and not wasting it, particularly for someone who is 28, would rather pump the games into Walker, Dec

He was a late starter and should play well into his 30s.
Is the type of we need and we can fit walker n dec in the team now - rat/turner/Morgan/Wright can all be dropped without a second thought.

Brisbane Lions join chase for Western Bulldogs midfielder Mitch Wallis

BRISBANE has joined the hunt for Western Bulldogs free agent Mitch Wallis to help beef up its midfield for a finals tilt next season.

The Lions have some of the best young talent in the competition and are targeting Wallis to add more leadership and strength through the midfield.

The Herald Sun understands a rival club could prise Wallis out of Whitten Oval with a four-year deal, securing his future until the end of 2022.

Wallis is highly rated at the kennel and his experience and team discipline over 118 games appeals to the Lions, who hit the jackpot acquiring champion Luke Hodge from Hawthorn late last year.

The Lions have registered their interest in the hard-running midfielder with the Wallis camp, but there are a number of clubs in the race to land the father-son jet.

Mitch’s father, Stephen, played 261 games for the Dogs between 1983 and 1996.

Wallis has already attracted interest from Essendon and Gold Coast, with the Bombers widely believed to be in the box seat to keep him in Melbourne.

Essendon is openly targeting another inside ball-winner and is planning to be active in trade period again after landing Jake Stringer, Devon Smith and Adam Saad last year.

Essendon has a quality midfield brigade but want another hard-nosed onballer such as Wallis to fill the void left by Jobe Watson when he retired at the end of last season.

Wallis is weighing up his future at the Bulldogs after another decent season, averaging 21 possessions across 13 games this year.

Wallis has made a full recovery from the horrific broken leg in 2016 but he appeared to fall out of favour last year, playing 12 senior games.

The Dogs are looking to make changes to their list after missing finals for the second-straight year on the back of a stunning 2016 premiership.

Wallis is one of four Western Bulldogs’ free agents facing uncertain futures.

Tom Liberatore, Luke Dahlhaus, Jordan Roughead and Wallis are able to switch clubs at the end of the season under free agency rules.

The club also wants veteran defender Dale Morris to play on next season

Would be good.

One bloke only runs one way and the other can't get on the park. Would fit into our program seamlessly.
Cockatoo has been injured more than he’s played. Absolute waste

We got to stop picking these type of players made of paper

A real off season coup would be getting Sam Mitchell to join our coaching panel, specifically to become our midfield coach. Couldn’t think of many better footy minds to teach our young kids like LDU, Ahern etc the tricks of the trade. They’d benefit hugely from it and gain inspiration from a 4 time premiership star no doubt

Nakia Cockatoo, shrugs off a few tackles, bursts through the guts, wow North look to have made a really good decision bringing this kid in over the off season, Cockatoo, getting through the 50 now, long kick... It's there, it's a goal! North reduce the deficit to 62 late in the third quarter. Cockatoo looks like to have hurt a hamstring kicking that goal as well. Such a shame as this was his first game back after a stress fracture issue. Now being carried off. That's tremendously unfortunate for the young man

It all gets back to price.

Risk / reward. If the cock is cheap then why not.

Surely there’s a lesson to be learned from Anderson’s 3 year form line.

Tell you what, even if they were giving cock away for free I don't think I would take it. NTTAWWT.
