What's your suggestion? If Wingard does get traded, I don't see his price being any higher than that

Like to hear what people think the dogs can do this trade period. Looks like we could lose all of Adams, English, Libba, Roughead and Dahlhaus. I think we need players in or approaching their prime age 25–28 as we have a super young list. This is my effort at what we can do let me know what you think?

We currently have Picks 6,42,59 and 60

Out:
Adams & Suckling (Hodge and Fagan connection) to Brisbane for Pick 22

English & Pick 59 to WCE for Pick 18 and Pick 36

Dahl to Gellong for Compo let’s say pick 25

Libba to someone like an Essendon who want a big bodied mid for Pick 32 As an example but to anyone that will give us a second round pick

Roughead for anything we can get if we match his FA offer let’s just say pick 65

Giving us pick 6, 18, 22, 25, 32, 36, 42, 60 and 65

In:
Wingard for Pick 6 - we most likely need to chuck in another pick or player

Pruess for pick 42 - with English and Roughead gone he becomes number 1 Ruck and Boyd can hopefully just pinch hit

Sam Lloyd for Pick 60

Pick up Collins from Werribee to replace Adams and the enevitable Morris retiring

Pick up father son Riley West what will chew into a pick or two

Jack Martin - Do what we can I’m not sure what he’s worth but say pick 18 and 22 if that get it done I’d do that

Anyway I’m probably crazy, definitely desperate and losing my mind but let me know what you think about these options

We are ****ed for list spots at Brisbane so we would probably not do this.

I think in this years draft especially there's little use in making points equivalent to a top pick. 19 and 20 aren't anything close to 6.

I’d be reluctant to let Tyson go at this point. If we lose Kent AVB and Hogan we’ll already have about 11 list spots to fill. I’d probably only be interested in Colyer for a late pick. Probably only trade Tyson for over or as part of a deal for a bigger fish.

I’m not his biggest fan but Tyson is he holding on to unless he’s required to be traded as part of a bigger deal. We’ll need some depth next year. But he’s back in the pecking order as a mid.

Id bet you anything you like Geelong would knock back 19 and 20 for Kelly. West Coast can spin it all they like but a 24 year old who finishes second in the best and fairest has more value than that. Points are irrelevant unless a team has an academy or father son prospect to bid for. Every team would choose pick 6 over 19 and 20 if they had a choice.

The May, Neale and Hogan movement could see some multiple club trade happen as in general you would think they all around similar value in market. Brisbane would have to supply the draft pick value to be on-traded to a club that wants an early pick the most. When Lynch leaves to Richmond GC will get a compo pick at 3 which bumps Brisbane first pick down to pick 5. Maybe pick 5 and pick 23 they bundle together to extract Neale from Fremantle. Fremantle on trade that to Melbourne for Hogan. Melbourne keep 23, on trade pick 5 to Gold Coast and get May. Gold Coast in need of a key defender and Adelaide in desire for an early pick are handed pick 5 in exchange for pick 16 from Crows plus Liam Jones from Carlton ending up at Gold Coast and McGovern to Carlton. Crows effectively upgrade from pick 16 to pick 5, which puts them right in running to get someone like Rankine they desperate for. Gold Coast keep their other two picks at 2 and 3 for Lukosias and Smith.
