Totally against what Sydney need.
Horrible for port. It’s basically pick 5 for Wingard. The rest is fluff.
I would have thought pick 5 for Wingard would be best case scenario.

Probably really out of whack trade but make of it what you will. Not a prediction but just for fun.
Gotta love a 7 way trade
Freo out: Neale, Pick 6 & 25
Freo in: Hogan, Lobb & Pick 13
Dees out: Hogan
Dees in: Pick 6 & 27
GWS out: Lobb & 25
GWS in: Sydney 2019 1st & Freo 2019 2nd
Sydney out: 13 & 2019 1st
Sydney in: Pick 7 & 23
Lions out: Pick 5, 23 & Mayes
Lions in: Neale
Similar trade to what’s being rumoured + Mayes
Port out: Wingard
Port in: Pick 5 & Mayes
Dogs out: Pick 7 & 27
Dogs in: Wingard
Dees get a good dip at the draft or they can trade pick 6 to GC for May (think May will be held to his contract at GC this year)
GWS get fair compensation for Lobb 13-18ish although in a supposed weak draft &
Freo get their 2 big targets for Neale and an early pick downgrade in which they could use for Ian Hill in which they need more of his type according to a couple Freo fans I’ve spoken to.
This allows Sydney to draft a player before a bid on Blakey in which they’ll use Pick 23 & 33 to match any bid following 7.
Brisbane get their desired player over which they’ll be happy to pay slight overs if any for a guy who is keen to go to Brisbane.
5 & Mayes compared to 7 & 27 values Mayes at about Pick 38 and Port would be desperate for that higher Pick so they won’t mind paying slight overs for Mayes to achieve that since they want to get their hands on at least one of those highly rated SA draftees and maybe have a choice between 2 of them.
Dogs get their man in which their very keen on for a fair price.

What? That's all you could reasonably expect for Wingard.Hell no.

Tyson for 2019 2ndSilly question number 2
How do North acquire Tyson (if the rumours are right) and Hall via trade and then have enough points to get Tarryn Thomas and Bailey Scott via the academy/FS system?
Where would they get pick 14 from?Re speculated McGovern trade I'd see ADEL's second rounder coming back to CARL and 42 off to the CROWS as well. Win/win all-around.
I wonder if the Crows are thinking a trade now of 14 & 16? (their first pick) to GCS for Pick 3 and grab one of those top SA kids?
Where would they get pick 14 from?
EDIT: Pick 13 is Sydney
CARL to SYD: 26 & 28
SYD to CARL: 13
CARL to ADEL: McAdam, 13 & 42
ADEL to CARL: McGovern & 21
ADEL to GCS: 8 (or 13) & 16
GCS to ADEL: 2 (or 3 if 13 used).
Pick 2 or 3 used on Jack Lukosius or Izak Rankine. And still have 8 or 13.
I think the McGovern will be as simple as 13 & McAdam for McGovern
It might be unless Carlton need 21 to land Setterfield if 43 won't cut it with GWS. 68 to COLL for Fasolo and 76 on Father/Son Ben Silvangi.
43 won’t get the deal across the line for Setterfield but Adelaide won’t give up 21 in McGovern deal.It might be unless Carlton need 21 to land Setterfield if 43 won't cut it with GWS. 68 to COLL for Fasolo and 76 on Father/Son Ben Silvangi.

Then Adelaide to GC
13, 16 & 21 to GC for 3 & 29/32
43 won’t get the deal across the line for Setterfield but Adelaide won’t give up 21 in McGovern deal.
2019 2nd & 43 might get Setterfield across.
Why would GC want more later picks rather than the top end stuff? IMO they need stars, probably a better bet the star comes at 3
I'd agree that this years draft is very deep so landing 3 first rounders is better than landing 2.

Tyson for 2019 2nd
Hall for 2019 3rd
Essentially i would think it comes down to the old saying:Silly question but why would the Swans take Carlton's two second round picks (equating to pick 10 in points value) when we could get West Coasts two second round picks (equation to pick 6), which they could use for Kelly?
