I’d like to keep Billy. Seemed to be on the outer for a while and finally got his shot and got injured. But I’d understand if he wanted out and that’s about what we’d get.Pick #45 to Melbourne

Saints Lose : 2019 first round pick
Saints Gain : Hannebery + Swans 2018 second round pick + Pies 2019 second round pick
Swans lose : Hannebery + 2018 Second round pick
Swans Gain : Darcy Moore
Pies Lose : Moore, 2019 second round pick
Pies Gain : Saints 2019 first round pick
Saints probably think they’ll finish the top 8 next year with the acquisition of Hannebery, other experienced players and an easier draw.
Pies are absolutely laughing!Saints Lose : 2019 first round pick

Maybe if you trade next year's first and this year's second for Wingard and their second next yearHypothetically, if Wingard does get traded to the Dogs, what does everyone think a realistic price ends up being? Keeping in mind Dogs probably won't want to lose pick 7, can it still happen?
Especially keen on hearing the unbiased views of fans not from Dogs and Port

I cant imagine any possible realistic scenario you get Wingard and keep pick 7.Hypothetically, if Wingard does get traded to the Dogs, what does everyone think a realistic price ends up being? Keeping in mind Dogs probably won't want to lose pick 7, can it still happen?

You’re getting a 25 year old 2 x All Australian. Also a best and fairest winner. If you don't give up pick 7 it’ll be next years 1st minimum. However he’s contracted and port will be keen on pick 7.Hypothetically, if Wingard does get traded to the Dogs, what does everyone think a realistic price ends up being? I guess that highly depends on how Port thinks we do next year. If they think we bottom out then it could be viableMaybe if you trade next year's first and this year's second for Wingard and their second next year
Yeah I imagine it's either this year's pick 7 or no deal. I'm not against trading it since we'd be getting proven talent instead of taking a punt, but would be best case scenario if we got bothYou’re getting a 25 year old 2 x All Australian. Given the state of the Dogs list, I'd definitely take Wingard over King (since we already have a tall key forward who dominated at junior level, no way to know that King would be any better than Boyd).#7 is most likely one of the King boys , Would any of you gents give up Max King for Wingard ??
Personally i dont think he is worth a #7 more around #15 specially if he wants big dollars
There is a real possibility at the Doggies pick Izak Rankine will be available , Would be madness to pass up rankine to go for wingardGiven the state of the Dogs list, I'd definitely take Wingard over King (since we already have a tall key forward who dominated at junior level, no way to know that King would be any better than Boyd).
Still would be nice to keep pick 7 and still somehow get Wingard, as unlikely as it is
Wingard worth pick 7 go and get him . 18 years old take time to develop .Given the state of the Dogs list, I'd definitely take Wingard over King (since we already have a tall key forward who dominated at junior level, no way to know that King would be any better than Boyd).

Yeah, if I could choose between the two I'd definitely take Rankine, I just have doubts about him still being thereThere is a real possibility at the Doggies pick Izak Rankine will be available , Would be madness to pass up rankine to go for wingard
I think with Talent like Rankine you just have to select him and trust your culture and club to keep talentYeah, if I could choose between the two I'd definitely take Rankine, I just have doubts about him still being there

Problem is, you've got to make that choice before the draft - trade out #7 for Wingard, or give up Wingard if he wanted to come for a possibility of Rankine. FWIW, I don't think Rankine will still be there at #7, so you could end up with neither!Yeah, if I could choose between the two I'd definitely take Rankine, I just have doubts about him still being there
With the introduction of draft night trading Port may broker a deal with Brisbane for their pickProblem is, you've got to make that choice before the draft - trade out #7 for Wingard, or give up Wingard if he wanted to come for a possibility of Rankine. Such a choice is dependent on your perceived need and list state.
Correct - but that's a separate deal. Saying no to Wingard & holding 7 could get you Rankine, but probably not; but WB could trade for an earlier pick (before or on Draft night) and thus get Rankine - but still that's a chance WB would have to take. The only guarantee would be trading before draft night for Wingard. With the introduction of draft night trading Port may broker a deal with Brisbane for their pick
He’s just saying that so when an unexpected trade happens he gets credit for predicting itTom Potroro said there is another big name player he expects to move that hasnt been mentioned in the media
I wonder who it is?
