vafa.com.au says we notched a couple up and lead by 2 points 38 v 36, dunno whether its half-time yet or what the story is.
Edit: It's halftime. Ivanhoe kicked the first 2 goals of the 2nd, then we scored 4 of the next 5 goals to sneak in front.

Since the merger which put Fitzroy back on the field in 2009, the Roys have won their first match only 3 times. In 2009 we started WL, in 2014 WD, and last season we were WW before the wheels fell off and the plummet fell on. To be WWW is a first for us in the new incarnation. WWWW? Well, that's just silly talk ... surely?

We have to go back to 2005 to see a better start, as the Fitzroy Reds. Where we dropped only Round 7 elsewise it would have been a championship year.

Around the grounds (we all know there's only one other ground we give a rats arse about), Willy Cystitis are enjoying an almost identical day against hosts Marcellin, 77 plays 44 over there.
