He's seriously an absolute joke.

The guy flaps his arms about, never tracks back whilst Mooy, who isn't having a great game, is always pushing hard back to defend.

I dont think he's capable of hitting a pass that isnt partially blocked.
Mooy's been fine. He's slow and looks lackadaisical but that's just how he is. The only guy out there without the fumbles.

Seriously.....between Kruse and Leckie.......if Australia cannot find better wingers we do not deserve to make the final 32.

Between those 2 and McLaren not even taking the pitch, we may well draw or lose this!

I can see why Kruse isn't getting game time for his club. We need a target man up forward. McClaren not really running in the right spots, and the last 20 minutes we were playing from the flanks with no one to really target to cross for a head on goal or palm down

Djite might be an option, he's a holding striker, the back end of last A-League season is why Adelaide won the double, we haven't had a good holding striker since Viduka.

It was a great effort by the team, but our forward structure is a real concern, and is letting down a midfield and defence that its playing fantastic soccer.

Do Australia really not have any player (except Smith's cross obviously) who can cross the ball? Time after time, Rogic, Mooy and Milligan would put Leckie and Kruze into a good attacking position and they would comically stuff up the cross. Sometime the crosses were so bad that instead of resulting in a shot on goal for us, they set up attacking moves for UAE.

Seriously, our crossing has been an issue for a long time now. What are Leckie and Kruze offering? It is hard to blame Juric in the centre, when 2 of the worst crossers in world football are missing him by 20m every time.
This was my post back from the UAE game. Not much has changed!!!

Kruse's ability to cross it straight into the defender and ruin an attacking opportunity is second to none.

Leckie......its hard to show how fast you are when you just stand in the one spot waving arms in the air!

Leckie should be up forward with perhaps Goodwin/kruse on the wing. He offers pace and better ultilised that way. MacLaren is offering nothing unfortunately
