Ange is the best coach in the country by a margin. He's presided over the best two sides in the 10 years of A-League history, and is getting fairly good results out of a collection of third and fourth rate regulars.
10 years ago we had Popovic, Neill, Vidmar and Moore at centre back. Now we have Sainsbury and Wright. The only regular we have that
might have gotten a run in 2006 is Mooy.
Scapegoating Ange for bad results rather than identifying the talent vacuum at junior level would be a return to the bad old days before Guus taught us how to win.
This is coming from a junior football coach. In my first season, coaching under nines, I was teaching them things they ought to have learned four years earlier.
